Zoya Natovna Dear Zoya, Enclosed you will find a copy of the letter than Nilgarthor has sent to the parents of each of my students. Over the last three weeks, I have lost four students. Day before yesterday, a member of the Purple Dragons stopped by to speak with me on "allegations that you were involved in the murder of Viscount Truesilver". I'm sure you remember the incident with Jelarthna and the Viscount Truesilver and that couple a few months back. I do not know how this information was uncovered, nor who placed it in the hands of the Dragons. Nilgarthor is forming a council of "concerned members of the community" who are interested in investigating the school and seeing if it is fit to remain open. I have no idea what I have done to offend Nilgarthor, but his malice seems beyond that of a simple rivalry for students. I have also checked through my own sources, and he has not been "serviced" by any of my other business practices. I have not been able to discover any prior relationship to me from him. I have also failed to discover any reason why he might be so dead set against psionics, but he was an adventurer in his younger days. What ordeal are you undergoing? Tyl'Gainia Nightstorm enclosures 1 Dear Sir and Ma'am, It has come to my attention that your child is currently enrolled in the Nightstorm School of Psionics in Marsember, While I admire you for attempted to have your child educated in the use of his or her abilities, I feel compelled, as a concerned member of the Marsember community, to inform you of certain discoveries which have been made concerning the schoolmistress Tyl'gainia Nightstorm. It has come to our attention that Mistress Nightstorm has been implicated in several crimes recently in our beautiful city. She is implicated in the death of Viscount Truesilver, as well as being suspected of several other crimes ranging from thievery to murder. Her intended spouse is also under investigation for the murder of Viscount Truesilver and also suspected of consorting with demon-kin. He has not been seen for weeks. Her acquaintances vary from the unsavory to the downright diabolical. She is friends with several thieves, assassins, and a suspected lycanthrope. In our inquiries into her family, we have discovered that Mistress Nightstorm was responsible for the death of her older brother, and for the disappearance of her younger sister. Her family has disowned her and stricken her name from their records. We only found out so much because one of their maids was kind enough to answer our inquiries. We feel it is our duty to inform you of the questionable moral character of the woman to whom you have entrusted your child's education, future, and indeed, your child's very life.
