Tyl'Gainia Nightstorm Tyl, That bunch of mealy-mouthed oafs is trying to shut you down on the basis of *morals*? If it wasn't so frustrating, it would be hysterically funny! I can't think that any of them have worked especially hard to instill moral upstanding in their students! I'll be out of touch for most of this week, but I promise you, as soon as I've recovered, I'll go over there and see if I can't get someone with authority to talk sense to me. Of course, most of them think I'm little better than a crackpot, myself, but I'll do my best. Can you give me the names of the more vocal detractors? In the meantime, you might try asking the parents of your students to send letters to the Guild in defense of your school. Nacheyla would be a wonderful start - even the mages too worn into their ruts to understand that psionics is a different field from magic know what an undead-hunter is, and can appreciate it. They'd certainly give some weight to her arguments. And don't panic; as long as you're not doing anything illegal over there - and you're not, or they'd have already sent the Purple Dragons over to speak to you - then all the Guild can do is harass you and try to smear your reputation. I suppose they could try to get a new law passed, but that would take them months, if not years. What's this all about, really? None of them are really this stupid, and they've never been all that impressed with morals. They can't *still* be offended that you've taken students away from them, can they? You didn't take that many, and they were all "hopeless" cases anyway. I hope to be recovered enough from my ordeal that Lisl and Marten will allow me visitors by Saturday. Please, come by the Tower and tell me what's going on!
