Dearest Xarroch - I wanted to take the time to write you a note before I left. I wish I had more time to talk with you about what I am doing, but time is not available to me right now. I know you are worried about me, not only for this trip but my relationship with Vallel as well. I want you to know that I have talked with him and although things are not the way they used to be between us they are better. It can be my only hope that when I return from this trip we can be the friends we used to be. As for my going, it is something I need to do. Ever since Sissra first came to me and asked me to take this journey everything in my life has pointed me towards this being the right thing for me to do. I am scared, but excited. The time spent with Michelle will be a great learning experience for me. I will hopefully come back being much wiser of my abilities and life here in general. I am going to miss you my dearest friend. It seems these days you are one of the only uncomplicated things in my life, and for that I appreciate you friendship all the more. I hope that you trust me in that if anything happens and I need you I will call. You and I both know that we have a bond stronger than distance that bond having been tested once already.
