The Writings section is for written works that aren't long fiction, but still deserve a place on the Hall site. What sorts of works will you find here, in specific? Poetry, writings from one character to another, short narrative pieces that don't have a plot per se, but better explain a character. These are the Meade Hall's writings. If you're looking for something by just Rachel, take a look at Meghan's Dilemma, set just before the party In a category of fiction we haven't seen here in a while, Liz has written some poems as Kevil on the fireworks from the Mayor's party. They're untitled, so for now, they're just called Kevil's Fireworks. In the Charoli plotline, recently a letter from Vallel to Meghan has been made public. Read it to see what's going on. And, copied to here from the Miscellaneous section of the Patrons' Only web site, we have the Tyl and Zoya letters from the beginning of the Nilgarthor plotline, right before Zoya went through her Ordeal. Before she left town to go on the quest Sissra tasked her with, Meghan found the time to write some letters. Here are the ones she wrote to Vallel and Xarroch. The morning after Tyl and Jelarthna's wedding, there were a couple odd happenings. Liz and KT have written them up in a bit titled Strange Presents. Meghan is working through a lot of feelings, and some of them best manifest themselves in Dreams. Glossaria wrote Vallel a lovely song as her present to him for their wedding. Here is the lyric portion of the song. Bai has a... special relationship with the gods of his homeworld. And recently, two of them have been by to talk to him. Bai's patron goddess, Mirgianne stops by Bai's archery practice to talk, in a piece called Conversation: Bai & Mirgianne and then, later, another goddess, Shadra, visits Bai's meditations. That scene is titled Conversation: Bai & Shadra. Go read for insight! Later, a third god, Archon visited Bai. That visitation is chronicled in Conversation: Bai & Archon. And, lastly, the Saint of Organized Crime pays Bai a visit in Conversation: Bai & Palyres. The next piece is a collection of three scenes with a common theme, Awakenings. First, Loria and Kevil, on the morning after their first night together, then Ilarion and Temire after they spend the night in each other's arms... and then an awakening of a decidedly more grim fashion. Sabrina has been working at the Music Box. What sort of things has she been doing there? Try reading Story Time to find out! Meghan has been away from the Hall for a few months now. Want a taste of what she's been up to? Take a look at Lessons Learned and that's what you'll get. Jewel starts awake from a less than restful sleep. What's on her mind? Quite a bit, it turns out.. Dawn and Dusk prep their assassination of Lieutenant Vander. How does it go, well, since the piece is titled Close of Dusk... Bastian slips out of his apartment early one morning, and heads for the cemetery, for a small funeral, and while he's there, he has an unexpected reunion, and divulges a closely-guarded secret. All this in Ghosts of Marsember. Taking place in the middle of the Scum plot from mid/late May of 2005, a mysterious plotter chats with his (in)subordinates about recent events, and lets consequences be known, in One False Move. When Dawn goes to take Bienca to Pleasure Island, Violet has a visitor. What does the visitor want? Ah... Find out in Moving a Pawn. |
