* Sabrina quickly walks into the temple. She doesn't really pay attention to the people she passes as she goes and heads directly to Tarri's door. She knocks quickly as she reaches it.
* Tarri opens the door, blinking a little sleepily. "Oh, hi, Sabrina!" She smiles.
* Sabrina looks distracted for a moment before looking more closely at Tarri. "Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't know you were asleep."
<Tarri> ::shakes her head:: Only dozing... I keep having the strangest dreams. I think it's because of the odd hours they make us keep. ::she steps back and gestures Sabrina into the room:: Come on in; I've got the room to myself for the next hour or so.
* Sabrina steps into the room and clasps her hands, turning and looking back to Tarri, her eyes bright "Can I.....Do you have a few minutes to talk?"
<Tarri> ::nods and sits on the edge of her bed, drawing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them:: Sure. Have a seat - what's up?
* Sabrina sits next to Tarri and looks down at her hands. "Can you tell me what you felt like when you first met San." Her cheeks grow a bit red and she glances over at Tarri.
<Tarri> ::blinks:: Um... Kind of overwhelmed, really - I'd only been in Marsember for a couple of days, and I'd never seen anything like the market here before... I didn't really notice him all that much, except that he was so nice, and kind of cute. ::she blushes a little, then tilts her head to look at Sabrina, grinning:: Are you falling in love?
* Sabrina closes her eyes a tear running down her cheek. "I hope not"
<Tarri> ::looks surprised:: Why not?
* Sabrina looks over to Tarri "Because he is not going to stay in Marsember."
<Tarri> ::bites her lip:: Oh... You don't... you don't have to stay here, you know? ::she looks sad:: I'd miss you, but...
* Sabrina shakes her head looking back down. "He is going off to adventure. I'm sure the last thing he wants is a girl tagging along. Besides I don't want to leave Marsember. Everyone I care about is here, and my music and Kevil is here." she sighs "I could not leave."
<Tarri> Oh... ::considers:: Are you *sure* he wouldn't want you along? Do you know how he feels about you? ::frowns slightly:: Who are we talking about, even? That guy you mentioned last time? F-... ::shakes her head:: I can't remember it...
<Sabrina> Fosst ::she nods:: I don't know how he feels. I couldn't ask him. I ::she shakes her head:: I think I would be scared of what he would tell me, not matter what it was.
<Tarri> ::nods, grinning slightly:: I know how that feels... ::she puts a hand on Sabrina's shoulder:: It might still turn out okay... Even if he leaves for a while... he might come back?
<Tarri> ::grins a little wider:: ...I could ask him for you.
* Sabrina blinks and looks at Tarri. "I....I don't know. I'm scared of what he might say."
<Tarri> Well, of *course* you are... I think everything worth doing is a little bit scary... At least the first time.
* Sabrina nods and looks down at her hands. "I'm just so confused. Every time I think about him leaving it makes me sad." she smiles a bit through the tears "And I think about him a lot."
<Tarri> ::smiles:: Look at it this way: If he loves you too, then of course you'll be able to work something out... Either you can go with him, or he'll come back for you.... *Some*thing. You don't just leave love behind! And if he doesn't... Well... ::makes a face:: It'll hurt for a little while, and then it gets better, and you can get one with your life, without having to wonder about might-have-been.
* Sabrina nods a bit. "I know." She sighs again. "But what if he does like me." she shivers. "It's hard enough when I get close to Kevil or San. I don't know if I could..."
<Tarri> ::frowns:: If he cares, then he'll wait 'til you're ready.
* Sabrina looks over at Tarri and smiles a bit. "Do you have a positive answer for everything?"
<Tarri> ::grins:: If it's for love? Definitely!
* Sabrina smiles and wipes her hand across her cheek. "Thank you. I just needed to hear it I guess."
<Tarri> ::hugs Sabrina:: Good. Will you talk to him, then? At least find out where he stands?
* Sabrina nods "I will try." She hugs Tarri back.
<Tarri> Oh, I'm so happy for you! ::bounces a little, grinning::
* Sabrina laughs softly "Don't be too happy yet. HE might not like me at all." she makes a face.
<Tarri> Oh, pshaw! Of course he does! Look at you! What man *wouldn't*? ::she grins::
* Sabrina blushes and pokes Tarri "Stop"
<Tarri> ::giggles and pokes her back:: Then stop fretting over it. Go talk to him!
* Sabrina nods "I will I promise." She stands and leans down to kiss Tarri's cheek. "Thank you." she disappears out the door, looking happier than when she arrived.
* Tarri grins after Sabrina, then yawns and stretches. "Just... a short nap..." She lies down on top of her blankets and curls up to go back to sleep.
