* Xarroch carries Meghan carefully into the cottage, the door comfortably sized for his large frame, and lays her gently out on a large, neatly made bed in a corner of the room. * Xarroch pulls the sheet from the castle from her and wraps her in a warm blanket... the whole area seems a bit unreal... the dimensions of the room and the bed seem to keep changing, as well as the shape.. the only thing that stays the same is the softness of the bed and blanket * Xarroch kneels down beside the young woman and lays a hand on her head, chanting low in an even cadence. A white glow spreads over them both, lending strength and energy to Meghan. * Xarroch opens his eyes and watches her face smooth out a little as all of the physical hurts fade, but the slightly haunted and frightened expression remains, telling of other wounds that cannot be so easily healed. * Meghan stirs slightly and her eyes flutter open and closed * Xarroch rises a bit weakly and walks to a chair... a table, now.. with a cup that seems to become a pitcher filled with clear water, and takes a towel the seems to coalesce in his hand and begins washing his many wounds, carefully pulling out bits of wooden quarrels and shards of metal <Xarroch> Meghan... ::softly, moving quickly to kneel by the small, round bed, he strokes her forehead:: Are you waking, little one? <Meghan> ::whispers very softly:: Xarroch <Xarroch> ::nods slowly:: I'm here.. you're safe... <Xarroch> ::looks away for a moment:: I am sorry... ::trails off:: * Meghan blinks a few times and tries to look around then her gaze focuses on Xarroch <Xarroch> ::the room seems to stretch and wobble more quickly as her gaze travels across it:: <Meghan> ::whispers:: where......where am i <Xarroch> My home. You were not well when I finally found you. ::softly:: I wanted to bring you here; to give you some time, to heal you, and let you recover. * Meghan nods slowly her gaze never leaving his face <Meghan> ::whispers:: I knew you'd find me <Xarroch> I did. So long, though... It took me so long. ::frustration creeps into his voice:: I'm so sorry. I should have been there. You never should have been taken in the first place! ::looks away, clutching his hands tightly:: * Meghan places her hand gently on his arm <Meghan> ::softly:: It's not your fault. ::looks away withdrawing her hand she shudders slightly and closes her eyes:: <Xarroch> ::looks back at Meghan, expression stony:: He's dead... that mage. I killed him. The blue eyed one, the one who.. ::breaks off:: He is alive... you tell me how you wish him punished, and he will be. * Xarroch takes a deep breath, and the whole cottage seems to waver and fade, turning to swirling walls of dust and water, then reform after a few moments. * Meghan wraps her arms around herself and begins to tremble slightly * Xarroch tentatively reaches out and puts his arms around Meghan, holding her comfortingly <Xarroch> ::softly:: I heard you call out... calling for help. I tried to grasp onto that, but it was so weak, faded so quickly. * Meghan nods slowly "I don't think I would have lasted much longer" * Meghan reaches up to feel her neck for the stone then looks up at Xarroch <Meghan> The necklace? <Xarroch> Here. ::he puts the necklace in her hand gently:: * Xarroch grunts softly for a moment and pulls a steel quarrel-tip from his side with a slight sucking sound and flicks it to the side <Xarroch> Oh, I saved this for you as well.. ::he stands and returns to the huge table, and open one of the desk's drawers, pulling out a slim notebook:: your journal... ::he brings it back over to the tiny couch-bed and lays it beside her:: * Meghan takes the necklace from him holding it close to herself * Meghan reaches out a second time taking the journal. She looks at it thoughtfully for a moment and then up to Xarroch, placing both item on the bed next to her she reaches up placing her hands on his shoulders and looks hard at him * Xarroch slowly meets Meghan's eyes <Meghan> ::softly:: I know you blame yourself for this. I need you to know that I don't. In my eyes you have saved me from becoming lost and more so dead ::pauses taking a deep breath then continues in a whisper:: I owe you my life. I can only hope that someday I can repay you <Xarroch> ::looks away for a moment and takes a deep breath, then looks back with just a hint of a smile:: Little Meghan... your life is your own. Merely live it as the good woman you are, and that will be more than repayment enough. And I will be there to protect you.. you may not blame me, and for that I am glad... <Xarroch> ::pauses a moment, then continues a little more strongly:: But I know my own failure, and I will strive to make that up to us both. * Xarroch smiles just a little more <Xarroch> Thank you. * Meghan nods offering a weak smile then falls back onto the bed and lays for a moment then moves to a sitting position pulling the necklace to herself and placing it around her neck <Meghan> ::looks up at Xarroch:: I need to ask a favor of you <Xarroch> ... will you be alright? ::shakes his head a little:: I can only heal the flesh, not the wounds inside... Is there anything I can do.. to help? * Xarroch nods <Xarroch> Just ask. <Meghan> ::softly:: I need Vallel. Can you bring him here? <Xarroch> ::nods quickly:: I will bring him right away! <Xarroch> Oh... ::looks around:: little one... this is a slice of Chaos... * Meghan nods to him looking around but not really seeing any of it <Xarroch> I build something here, and it will stay in one form or another, but it shifts and changes.. if you can, and wish to, you can control it by concentrating on the form you wish. do not let yourself be frightened, nothing will harm you, but your own thoughts mind influence things, even ones you don't know well. <Xarroch> I will be back quickly. ::with a gentle pat, he rises and gestures, spitting out harsh sounding words and as a shimmering portal opens for a moment, Xarroch steps through * Meghan watches Xarroch leave and sits back on the bed her fingers tracing to carvings of the necklace the stone warming her hands * Meghan closes her eyes and her fingers tighten around the stone. Her face tenses and the room visibly darkens. The walls begin to shift a bit violently. * Meghan begins to tremble a bit and images of things that happened to her flash throughout the room like shadows. A single tear slides down her cheek and she curls up in the bed pulling the blanket tightly around herself * Vallel is sitting in front of the fire, sipping a cup of tea and absent-mindedly flipping through a book about pyrokinesis. * Xarroch bursts open the door of Vallel and Meghan's home and spotting Vallel, strides quickly over to him, extending a hand <Xarroch> Take my hand. Meghan needs you. ::the voice steely, inviting only compliance:: <Vallel> Great Gods and Little Spiders! Don't you ever Knock? ::spills his tea all over his book and leaps from his chair:: <Xarroch> No time, I told her I'd hurry. ::reaches out his hand further:: * Vallel reaches down, picks up his sword where it has been resting against his chair and rather reluctantly, puts his small hand into Xarroch's very large one. <Vallel> I wonder what it's like to have a normal life? * Xarroch barks out a harsh word and the world vanishes for a moment.. the two reappear near the bed Meghan is resting in, the walls some distance away, making a large, airy and bright room... the wobbling around the edges is near-constant and the size and shape of things fluctuate but not so much as previously * Vallel looks around in amazement. <Vallel> Well... ::blinks:: where are we, hmmm? ::looks over at Meghan:: What's going on? * Meghan doesn't notice they have come back <Xarroch> My home... ::looking at Meghan, he goes to the large bed again and smooths back her hair:: Meghan? I've brought Vallel. <Vallel> What happened to Meg? ::leans over her, looking down at her:: * Meghan looks up at him her eyes full of tears <Xarroch> ::kneels near Meghan, glancing up at Vallel with a stoney expression:: She was kidnapped and tortured by a dead mage. She's safe now, and her wounds are healed... but only the physical once... ::almost seems to sigh:: that is all I can do for now... * Meghan looks past Xarroch and sees Val and she takes a deep breath brushing away her few tears * Xarroch moves a little to let Vallel get closer * Vallel takes Meghan's hand and looks almost comical in his concern. <Vallel> Is there anything that I can do? * Meghan sits up and holds Val's hand tight and looks hard at him <Xarroch> ::softly:: Little Meghan has been through too much... she asked me to bring you. <Meghan> ::softly:: I feel so disconnected Val. I need your help, but I don't know how <Vallel> Disconnected from what? ::looks puzzled, then turns a pleading eye on Xarroch:: You should have gotten Mistress Tyl. She knows more about these sorts of things than I do... * Meghan shakes her head <Xarroch> ::voice firm:: She asked for you, boy. <Meghan> But she doesn't know me, not like you do. <Meghan> I think my mind is ::pauses:: slipping away. I don't know how to keep it ::seems frustrated:: to keep from losing it * Vallel squeezes her hand tightly. <Xarroch> Is there some way we could anchor you? <Vallel> I don't... I don't know what to do. ::runs his free hand through his dark hair, leaving the front sticking up in almost comical tangles:: * Meghan looks up at Val a tear sliding down her cheek then nods at Xarroch's suggestion. <Meghan> I think i need you to come into my dreams, like you did before. I need your strength there. <Xarroch> ::looks at Vallel:: Into your dreams? <Vallel> We.. ::shrugs:: we went dreamwalking a few times... * Meghan nods <Xarroch> ::nods slightly:: I have heard a little of such things. How do you do it? Is there anything I can do? <Meghan> I am afraid that I am going to fall asleep and get lost in my dream ::pauses:: more like nightmare <Vallel> She just needs to sleep. The rest of it I can do... it's sort of like telepathy, but somewhat easier <Xarroch> ::the room changes subtly, the light more diffuse and softer now, the walls and few pieces of furniture seeming more cozy and relaxing:: <Xarroch> Can you sleep then, little one? ::looks at Meghan with concern:: * Vallel sits down on the side of the bed... <Vallel> Squish up, there... ::he smiles at her:: It'll be fine. * Meghan lays back on the bed keeping hold of Val's hand. After a few moments her eyes close and after a few moments longer her breathing slows <Xarroch> ::the bed swells up larger, becoming oval shaped:: * Xarroch puts a one hand on Meghan's, then other on Vallel's shoulder. * Vallel lays down on his side, facing Meghan, holding her hand, then touching her forehead lightly with his other hand. A moment later, he closes his eyes, then, seems to drift off to sleep, his cheek resting against her shoulder. * Xarroch murmurs softly, spreading a magical warmth through the other two, willing his strength into them, offering his solidity <Vallel> :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Dream:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: * Meghan blinks a few limes and then sits up looking around. She is the room in the Mages castle. * Vallel walks across the room. He is wearing his most Jaret-like clothing and his hand is firmly on his rapier. <Vallel> Nice place, this... ::he frowns:: * Meghan climbs from the bed and walks over to the only window in the room. She runs her fingers lightly across the bottom of the window <Vallel> ::walking over to Meghan, he looks out the window:: Hello? <Meghan> ::whispers:: He brought me here once. Threatened to push me out of the window if I didn't ::trembles hard:: if I didn't scream for him. ::falls to the floor shaking hard:: * Vallel makes a weird face. <Vallel> The perversely evil always want us to scream or cry or say uncle or something. As if that somehow makes us less strong... you can be afraid and still not be broken, you know. * Meghan nods slowly still shaking hard <Meghan> I can see him everywhere. Every place he ::pauses closing her eyes:: every place he forced himself on me <Vallel> Well... ::looks out the window:: Long drop, that? Let's fix it. ::he closes his eyes briefly and a bright copper-hued winged horse appears outside the window, flapping great feathery wings:: * Meghan looks up and out the window slightly surprised <Vallel> Shall we? ::he opens the window:: * Meghan looks up at Val in utter confusion * Vallel climbs onto the window ledge and then onto the back of the winged steed, extending a hand to Meghan. <Vallel> Let's go... * Meghan slowly reaches out and takes his hand still looking very unsure she climbs on behind Val <Vallel> ::The great winged horse neighs, then flaps his great wings, spiraling down dramatically to land neatly in the courtyard below:: * Meghan holds tightly to Val her eyes closed <Vallel> Chester isn't going to drop us, you know. He's very good at this flying thing... * Meghan nods slowly opening only one eye <Vallel> ::Chester lands in the courtyard, looking around the stony and ugly landing in disgust. He stamps one silver hoof and huge rose bushes bloom from every pavement crack. Contentedly, the winged steed begins munching on roses.:: * Vallel picks a bright blue rose from one of the bushes and hands it to Meghan. <Vallel> Here... * Meghan smiles slightly and takes the rose bringing it to her nose and breathing deeply. Then tension slowly fading from her face * Vallel dismounts, then helps Meghan off the back of the winged steed. <Vallel> See, everything can be changed. Even the worst, most evil place can be beautiful... peaceful... or at the very worst, it can at least be over... * Meghan nods slowly looking around <Meghan> I would have never been able to see it by myself <Vallel> See, the most important thing about any of us is here ::touches Meghan's forehead:: and in here ::taps his own chest:: Whatever happens out here ::waves a hand to indicate the "outside":: isn't important. No one can take away what you are... not without your permission. * Meghan nods again slowly <Vallel> Now, I'm assuming that our demonic friend made an maggot-pie out of your mage? <Meghan> ::softly:: But I see him ever time I close my eyes. I don;t know how to make it go away. <Meghan> ::nods:: yes he is dead <Vallel> Then he can no longer affect anything out here ::waves his hands around again:: <Vallel> So, now we just have to help you not let him affect anything in here ::taps her forehead again:: * Meghan looks at Val <Meghan> It's not him Val ::softly:: not him at all <Vallel> ::looks puzzled:: What? <Meghan> There was another man. Simply a man. ::closes her eyes turning away:: stronger than me ::mumbles to herself:: I couldn't even fight him <Meghan> ::continues mumbling:: i should have tried harder ::shakes her head:: <Vallel> And accomplished exactly what? ::gives her a stern look:: If we're talking about what I think we're talking about here. <Meghan> ::falls to her knees her hands covering her face speaks lightly:: he forced me to have sex with him Val. So many times...and i couldn't move...i tried to fight ::shakes her head:: <Vallel> There's no crime in not being physically strong... or even in being forced to do something you don't want. <Vallel> There is nothing to reproach yourself for... * Meghan nods slowly looking up at him * Vallel kneels down, looking at her very carefully. <Vallel> What happened was a terrible thing. And you can't change that. It's over and done with. * Vallel keeps his face very carefully neutral. * Meghan watches him pulling as much of his strength as she can <Vallel> What happens now is up to you. You can go on, carrying it around with you like a dead child, cradling it to your chest and wailing to the world. Or you can put it down and leave it behind. Not to forget, or to pretend that it didn't happen. You wouldn't want to do that. It's part of who you are now and you are a very wonderful person. But you need to put it down, or you can't go on. * Meghan nods looking down and then back up to him again <Meghan> I can't do it alone <Vallel> No one said you had to, my friend... no one said that at all... ::puts his hands on her shoulders and pulls her back to her feet:: <Meghan> Then why do I feel ::looks at him hard:: I feel so alone <Vallel> ::shakes his head:: I can't do it for you, Meghan... but I can do it with you... You're only as alone as you want to be. We're all here for you. Me, Mistress Michelle, my aunt adores you, you know... I even think Jaret likes you more than he wants to admit... * Meghan nods and images of all the people she knows from the Hall fly through her mind. People she had come to know as friends and some as family. And suddenly it all falls into the right place in her mind. She looks at Val and a smile crosses her lips and the tension leaves her face <Vallel> Here ::takes the rose from her, smiles, then makes a strange gesture and presses the rose into the skin, right above her left wrist. The rose vanishes, replaced by a small, discrete blue rose tattoo:: There. Now you'll always have it. And you can always remember how much all of us love you. * Meghan gently runs her fingertip over the rose and smiles at Val a tear sliding down her cheek <Meghan> ::softly:: I will never forget <Vallel> And no one can take it away from you... come on, dearest... it's time to wake up... * Meghan nods pulling Val into a hug <Meghan> ::whispers:: I love you Val <Vallel> ::hugs her back:: I love you, too... ::grins impishly:: Only don't tell Glossaria I said so... * Meghan nods smiling <Meghan> I promise <Vallel> ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Dream::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: * Vallel sits up, yawns, and stretches. <Vallel> Oi! I'm starved! Do you have real food around here, Xarroch, or do you just eat the flesh of your enemies? * Vallel grins up at the demon. * Meghan blinks a few times and takes a deep breath * Xarroch slowly takes his hands from the two and blinks, his chanting falling silent as he studies them both <Xarroch> I can feed you, yes. ::stands slowly, looking curiously and with concern:: Well? Did it work? * Meghan lets her gaze fall on Xarroch and a smile crosses her lips. She slowly sits up * Vallel reaches over and turns Meghan's wrist upwards, revealing the blue rose tattoo. <Vallel> Yeah, I think so... ::touches the tattoo lightly:: Although I wasn't sure this would actually be permanent... <Xarroch> ::smiles back slowly at Meghan, and nods:: Good! What would you like to eat, then? * Meghan messes Val's hair slightly and stands stretching <Vallel> ::gives Meghan a slightly worried look:: I hope you don't mind your new decoration... it sort of... seemed like the best idea at the time... * Meghan nods <Meghan> I love it ::smiles:: it will serve it's purpose well * Meghan lets her fingers pass lightly over the rose on her wrist <Xarroch> What is that? ::looks over curiously, some of the tension leaving his frame:: <Vallel> Psionic symbology... * Meghan walks over closely to Xarroch showing him her wrist and the rose <Vallel> A permanent reassurance... a reminder... it's hard to explain exactly... I took all my empathy, my feelings for Meghan, and pressed them into her... <Xarroch> ::raises an eyebrow and looks at the blue rose:: Interesting, Such things do not normally translate out... ::small smile:: It is lovely. <Xarroch> And you are truly alright now? ::resting a hand on Meghan, searching her eyes:: * Meghan smiles at Val fondly and looks up at Xarroch nodding slowly reaching up to touch his cheek <Vallel> ::shakes his head:: No, she's not... but she will be. These things take time... and the most important thing for her now is for us all to just be there for her... <Meghan> IT won't be easy but I am well on my way to being better ::nods at Val's words:: I am lucky beyond words to have you all in my life <Vallel> ::blushes:: Anyone who knows you would have done it for you... <Xarroch> ::smiles wider:: Then we shall be here for you, little Meghan. ::squeezes Vallel's shoulder gently:: You have my thanks boy... Vallel. * Meghan shakes her head walking over to him and taking his hands <Vallel> ::looks surprised:: Wow... I didn't think you knew my name... I'm honored. <Meghan> Only you could have done it correctly ::smiles between Xarroch and Val:: <Xarroch> ::chuckles:: Now! What did you want to eat? <Vallel> ::dreamy look:: Steak, rare... with bleu cheese sauce... maybe some potatoes... and lots of bread... <Xarroch> ::chuckles softly:: Meg? * Meghan laughs softly <Meghan> I think I'll just share Val's bread. I don't think I can stomach much more than that right now <Vallel> ::looks vaguely defensive:: Hey... psionics burn calories... I can't help that... ::grins:: how do you think Mistress Tyl stays so thin? You should see how badly she eats! * Xarroch nods and squeezes Meghan's hand, then steps out of the door for a moment * Vallel looks around curiously. <Vallel> I wonder how he gets a door here? I mean, obviously it's not really a door... or a bed... just sort of solid thought, I think... * Xarroch steps back in through the door, carrying a platter that's large even in Xarroch's hands... several slabs of very rare steak with a generous container of blue cheese and a large pile of steaming hot rolls * Meghan takes a roll and sinks down into the sofa * Vallel spends a few seconds squishing his eyes shut and imagining up a table and some chairs. <Vallel> Neat! ::sits down and starts working on the food:: * Meghan smiles at Val fondly * Xarroch sets the platter down on the table and settles into a chair that balloons out to be large enough to support him. * Meghan watches them both from the sofa <Xarroch> ::looks at Meghan:: Would you like to stay here for a while, while you recover? That goes for you as well. ::nodding at Vallel:: <Vallel> I wouldn't mind a bit of a vacation, honestly... having three mildly hysterical women fussing over me for the last several days has been a bit trying on my nerves. <Vallel> Could you leave a note for my aunt or something, so she doesn't freak out completely? <Meghan> I'd like to stay too I think. A vacation sounds nice * Vallel grins at Meghan. <Vallel> The day you got 'napped, I got pummeled pretty badly. My aunt and teacher and fiancee have all been acting like I'm made from spun glass... <Xarroch> ::nods:: And I understand you could perhaps use a break from the young fools that keep trying to kill themselves by constantly challenging a pyrokinetic. * Meghan looks at Val concern crossing her face <Meghan> Are you ok <Vallel> ::makes a face:: Everyone's treating me like an idiot about this, but honestly... I don't *want* to kill any of them. And I don't dare use my psionics in those fights. I could kill all of them... * Meghan nods <Xarroch> ::spreads his hands and shrugs a little:: That is the most effective way to deal with them. <Meghan> you could <Xarroch> Would you like me to do it for you? ::studies Vallel:: * Meghan shakes her head <Meghan> It's not always the best way to deal with problems <Vallel> ::gives Xarroch a fierce look:: And exactly what do you think that would accomplish, making a bunch of adolescent idiots into ash-piles? It would incense the populace. And there are so few of us. It could start a war that we have no way of winning... <Xarroch> ::smile, a touch of sadness to it:: I did not say best, little Meg. <Xarroch> ::raises an eyebrow:: And letting them humiliate, beat, and kill you accomplishes what? * Meghan nods to Xarroch offering him a soft smile <Meghan> That you did not <Vallel> ::lowers his eyes:: For the moment, it's buying us time to think of another solution. If my being beaten and humiliated has done nothing else, it's prevented Gloss from being killed. She doesn't know. I haven't told her. It's not these insults I'm upset about. They were... they were plotting to murder her, for daring to act like she was meant to be a person... <Xarroch> ::shakes his head:: My apologies. I have not heard your side of things, Vallel. Just the rantings of .. ::smiles and chuckles a bit:: three mildly hysterical women. <Xarroch> They plan to kill the worm girl? * Meghan sits up looking concerned <Meghan> They what?? <Xarroch> ::stretches out a hand to calm Meghan:: No need for concern yet... time flows differently here. We have time. <Vallel> The night Xarroch did some creative restructuring of the pavement... I waylaid several of them. They were stalking Gloss and Zoya on their way back to the Tower... * Meghan shakes her head <Meghan> It's not a good situation at all <Vallel> I knew... I believe that Mistress Zoya could have dealt with them... but... these kids... they're ignorant and frightened. Killing them is only going to... make things worse... convince people who were neutral that maybe we are dangerous... make more people hostile about it. * Meghan nods agreeing with Val <Vallel> Mistress Tyl has a plan... we're going to do some public works... donate psionic items and time to certain public efforts... gain the support of the people who are neutral... then, over time, those people who are hostile about it, they'll relax... <Xarroch> Perhaps... ::shakes his head a little:: I think perhaps you're being a bit naive, however. Why haven't you told anyone of the threat to the worm girl? * Meghan sits back munching on her roll thoughtfully <Vallel> And what would they do? They'd just run out with their swords and staffs in hand and we'd end up with a body count. Much as I respect my mistress, Zoya, and Jaret, they all carry their brains in the same scabbard as their swords... <Meghan> But Val this is not something you should carry alone. Any of it. You should tell the others. <Xarroch> ::laughs:: You think so little of them? Because they can act they do not know when not to? ::shakes his head:: Likely Jelarthna is the worst about that. You do not give your mentors and friends enough credit. <Vallel> ::snorts:: I give them a great deal of credit... for being who they are... and what they are. Listen to me on this... I am a farmer. A commoner. For most of my life I haven't had two coppers to rub together. I *know* how these people think. I know how peasants think and I know how the non-magical nobles think. * Meghan finishes her roll and stretches curling on the sofa and resting her head against one of the cushions <Vallel> The biggest factor in their lives is fear. They fear taxes and they fear powerful men and they fear death. They fear crop failure, fear for fires in their house. All they know, day in and day out, is a sort of nagging worry. <Xarroch> I still believe you give them too little credit. And this is not a burden you can take on yourself. The only ways you have of delaying these boys is to kill them or sacrifice yourself... there are many other possibilities. <Vallel> Hmph. Lisl, my aunt, and Zoya have all been like "just toast a few of them, the rest of them will run screaming." <Xarroch> ::small grin:: It's not quite that simple. If you're so intimate with fear, then you should know it's application can be a delicate thing. Or a bludgeon to sweep them all away. * Meghan eyes begin to slowly close and after a few moments she is sleeping soundly <Xarroch> But keep in mind your friends are also not dealing with everything you know. <Xarroch> ::shakes his head again:: We can talk more of this later... Meghan obviously needs some rest, and I suspect you do as well. ::smiles and gestures at the second bed now near Vallel:: <Vallel> ::grumbles under his breath:: Yeah, all right... ::takes his sword off and lays it on the floor:: But mark me on this, Xarroch... anyone dies over this and it's all over. We're doomed. <Xarroch> ::little chuckle:: Death need not be permanent.. not always. * Vallel lays down in bed, kicking his boots off. <Vallel> G'nite, Xarroch... 'nite Meghan... <Xarroch> ::the lights dim and Xarroch chuckles:: sleep well, young humans * Meghan stirs lightly on the sofa pulling a pillow closer to her * Xarroch pats Meghan on the head gently and steps out the double door to let Vallel and Meghan rest, a thoughtful look on his face. |
