Michelle's ex-husband is still on the loose. Maeli's cough is worse. Nacheyla talks about being an undead hunter.

Michelle gets ready to resurrect Temire with Lisl standing bodyguard in case Lann and Yamato show up. Yamato and Lann do make an appearance (oh, we're all surprised, I know), trying to break into the room while the resurrection is going on. In the fight, Michelle's house gets knocked down. Lisl gets set afire, which is actually quite nasty. Lisl and Yamato continue to fight. There is an eclipse of the moon, which limits Michelle's powers. The power of the moon and mirrors enables Michelle to deprive Lann of magic and he dies on the end of Temire's sword as she comes back from the dead. Michelle cuts of Yamato's head. Lisl offers to let Michelle and Temire live at her place for a while, because Michelle's house is ruined.

Plots: Vampires After Tyl
There's something wrong with the teleport shields around the Hall. Children throw snowballs at Zoya when she walks in. Zoya attempts diagnostics on the Hall's shields. Tyl seems to have gotten stuck inside the shield somehow. Zoya manages to get her out. Tyl is wounded, and infected by a vampire bite, who seems to have taken up residence in Tyl's body. Nacheyla forces a white mist out of Tyl's body, which attempts to attack Jaret just as he walks onto the Hall. Nacheyla uses a wand to burn the mist out. The various patrons try and get their wits back together. Jaret talks about being out of town and feeling mildly aggressive enough that he hopes someone has burgled his house, just so he can fight with someone.

Plots: Goodnight, Old Friend
Lisl is limping. She's still healing up from the fight with Lann and Yamato and ended up in a brawl, so her healing skills are at full stretch. Maeli knits and dozes by the fire. Tyl leaves early to meet a friend. Maeli drops her knitting needle as Rhys is patching up Lisl's leg. When Lisl goes over to give it back, she notices that Maeli has died in her sleep. Rhys is grief-stricken and angry. He had a youth potion that he had meant to give her, and now she's gone. Lisl explains that resurrections don't work on people who die natural deaths. Rhys takes Maeli's body back to her family.

Lisl tells everyone about Maeli's death. Jaret makes some commentary about his job and Lisl attempts to pry information out of him. Jaret purchased a sword for Temire. Jaret refuses to tell Lisl who hired him or what he's doing. Eventually Lisl has to be satisfied with not knowing.

Nacheyla talks about her great-great-great-grand nephew being in town. Jaret has a gift for Temire, a new sword. Marten comes in. Temire picks up the sword and vanishes. The Patrons search for her and Zoya finds her in the ether. Marten gets nervous and tries to leave. Jaret wants to know where Marten got Moon Dancer's klaive. Marten does not know anything about Moon Dancer and seems to know very little about himself. Lisl comes in and recognizes Marten as being Moon Dancer. Jaret attempts to try and convince Marten to look at himself in the mirror and compare himself with a sketch of Moon Dancer. Lisl is stunned that Moon Dancer/Marten doesn't know her. Nacheyla and Zoya and Gloss attempt to get Temire out of the ether while Jaret, Lisl, and Marten have a fight. Temire falls out of the ether into the middle of Jaret and Marten's fight. Marten gets wounded and loses consciousness. Zoya heals him and they explain that they think he's their friend Moon Dancer. Marten exhibits some strangely Moon Dancer mannerisms, and ends up deciding to stay at the Hall while he recovers.

Lisl comes in, frantically looking for Marten. Zoya and Lisl talk about what might have happened to him. Marten comes in, admits to having some memory problems, and wonders if he might actually be Moon Dancer. Zoya and Marten make a lunch date.

Lisl and Marten talk about Moon Dancer. Lisl tries to get Marten to remember anything about his "previous" life. Lisl tells Marten her "secret". Marten freaks out and tries to run away. Rhys uses Time Stop to keep him from leaving. Marten eventually flees out an upstairs window and Lisl and Rhys go through his stuff, trying to find clues.

Yb comes in, celebrating Moon Dancer's return. Marten comes in, looking worn out. He does not recognize Nacheyla, who he just met a few weeks back. Marten tells Jaret he sold "Moon Dancer's" klaive. Marten loses his temper with Yb, screaming at her. Then Marten pretty much loses his temper completely. Jaret and Marten scream at each other for a while. Nacheyla activates a spell to tune the combatants slightly out of time, to prevent damage to the Hall. Marten pops off to the Land of Dreams briefly, and then Yb brings him back. Nacheyla makes him apologize. Yb wanders into the kitchen to make spaghetti and everyone else leaves.

Jaret has recovered Moon Dancer's klaive. Tyl comes in in disguise, Lady Shanda. Tyl offers to use psionics to peek around in Marten's head. Marten gets defensive about this idea and Tyl refuses to poke around without permission. Tyl goes home and Michelle does a magical examination of Marten's bones. She discovers an old wound. Marten leaves to go to the Tower with Zoya.

Vallel comes onto the Hall for the first time. Marten and Jaret get into a discussion of the constabulary in Cormyr. Vallel tries really hard to flirt with Glossaria, which she doesn't notice for a while because she's too busy trying to put out the fire that Michelle started in her mouth. Marten seems to feel that Cormyr is distrustful of mages, demonstrated by the War Wizards. Vallel talks about accidentally burning his uncle's barn down while involved in... other things. Gloss and Vallel wander off together.

Zoya prods Marten about what is chasing him. Marten admits that the Brotherhood he belongs to is hunting him and that they sometimes have inhuman followers. Zoya and Marten discuss whether or not regaining Moon Dancer's memories would be tantamount to killing Marten or if NOT regaining those memories would be equal to killing Moon Dancer. Zoya wonders what Marten will do, when this is all over.

Vallel brings Glossaria a box of paper samples made out like chocolates. Zoya spent the day working on her spelljammer ship. Temire has managed to get injured again, defending some girl who had been kidnapped. Vallel and Glossaria talk about his classes, literacy, and sheep herding. Marten speaks a bit about the brotherhood he's running from. He has forgotten Temire, although she stabbed him a few weeks ago. Lisl binds up Temire's wounds and gives her a nip of mulekick to ease the pain. Temire, like most normal Hall Patrons (is there actually such a thing as a normal Hall Patron?) falls asleep. Glossaria accompanies Vallel home and Marten and Lisl go off with Zoya.

Zoya talks a bit about the Tower Staff, a wisp of blue smoke that keeps the Tower clean and fetches things for Zoya. Zoya makes a Tower Key for Marten. Zoya wants Lisl to tell Marten about Moon Dancer's history, since Zoya doesn't know it particularly well. Zoya and Lisl try and get Marten to tell them about the Brotherhood, which he is still reluctant to do. He finally admits that the Brotherhood is an assassins Guild. Zoya admits to caring about Marten for Marten, not as Moon Dancer that he might have been. Lisl bullies them into "talking" privately, and they wander off to "discuss" the matter.

Vallel talks about a teaching accident. Michelle brings him a lobster for dinner, which makes Glossaria very uncomfortable. Glossaria is appointed to apprentice priestess of Erdian and there is much rejoicing. Zoya discusses her plans to "graduate" from her own apprenticeship, since her Master died before he could do it. Marten talks about Zoya needing protection after the ordeal is over.

Zoya goes off to her workroom to start the Ordeal. Marten and Glossaria set up in the room outside. Lisl comes over to visit. Lisl rants about the inscrutable nature of people who study "The Way". Some time passes. Zoya staggers out of the workroom, bleeding. Marten freaks out a little, muttering in some strange language. Glossaria heals Zoya and then puts both Zoya and Marten to bed. Lisl curls up by the fire and sleeps.

Tyl is being followed by a henchman of Nilgarthor, the mage who is trying to close down the Psionic School. Tyl mindspeaks with Lisl for a while about Nilgarthor, who seems to know more than is good for the Patrons. Marten discusses the Hall wards, which makes Rhys a bit curious. Tyl mentions that Jelarthna went to have lunch with Xarroch and neither has been seen since. Lisl and Marten discuss the Golden Horde. Tyl spends the night at the Hall.

Lisl and Zoya enter, arguing about whether or not Zoya is strong enough to be up and about. Zoya talks about her new Chains, arm cuffs made from magical metals. Yb tries to talk seriously with Zoya about something, but her Staff freaks out and drops Yb to the ground, unconscious. Zoya checks her to see if she's all right, and Yb tries to steal the surge ball. Yb collapses again and speaks Prophecy, mildly freaking out everyone, especially Marten. Lisl tries to figure out what's going on, giving herself a colossal headache.

Plots: Family Matters II, In This Life or the Next
Zoya is glowing with too much magic. Tyl and Vallel come in, Tyl is injured. Vallel had another training accident and the cleric who tended to Tyl's burns also clued in Nilgarthor*, who sent someone to ambush them. Bronwyn, a minstrel, stops in for the evening. Glossaria helps heal Tyl's wounds. Tyl tells them about the attack at the school the previous evening, in which Vallel burned down half the school building saving some of his fellow students. Jaret has been to Kara-Tur recently and found the place where Moon Dancer died (or whatever it is that he did.) A huge wasteland marked the spot, magically and spiritually dead. They discuss this for a while, then Jaret tells about a pregnant wolf with Moon Dancer's old pack, mated with a ghost.
*note: in the script, Nilgarthor's name changes spellings a few times. Ignore it.

Zoya is recovering from her Ordeal. Temire talks about learning to use the slipping power she gained. Marten is told about the trip to Kara-Tur. Jaret comes in, acting all mysterious and not wanting people to talk about things before drawing conclusions. Glossaria talks about Jaret learning a language and he is quite harsh about the fact that she is mistaken. The Patrons talk about Marten's problems. Marten went off to Suzail.

Zoya braces Marten about his trip to Suzail. Marten claims nothing happened. He slept for three days, he says. Zoya tells him that she does not believe that, that he may not remember, but something did happen. There were several deaths in Suzail while Marten was supposedly sleeping. Zoya wants to put Marten into a trance, to try and draw out the "other" which seems to be taking over his body while Marten is unaware of it. Marten is worried, does not want to lose Zoya "again." Zoya questions the word again. Zoya puts Marten into a trance and speaks with the "other", Masato. Zoya asks Masato why he killed the people in Suzail. He does not give her a very satisfying answer. She asks him about Akiyata. Masato gets pretty angry, tells her that "he" will not have Zoya. Masato rants for a while, then slips into another language, eventually getting away from Zoya's spell. Marten awakens with a headache. Zoya gets upset and tells Marten what happened. She suggests some reasonable precautions and Marten gets defensive and hostile. They declare their love for each other, but it is not enough, and, angry and hurt, Marten leaves the Tower.

Zoya is distracted and upset. Lisl and Tyl are both hungry. Glossaria fills Tyl and Lisl in on the latest developments with Masato. Tyl discusses various methods of assassinations. Not that she knows anything about them, of course. She has a "friend." Gloss tells them about the general, the lord and the wife. The lord coveted the general's wife and sent the general off to be killed in battle. The general survived, came back, challenged the Lord and was killed by the general's lieutenant. The wife was accidentally pushes out of a window and killed. Or something like that... it's a bit confused. While they are discussing it, Marten/Masato materializes on the Hall. He informs Zoya that he wants her and he wants his revenge. Lisl taunts Masato, saying Zoya/Akiyata already left him for another man. Tyl and Lisl make snappy repartee while Zoya and Masato discuss past lives they may or may not have had. Tyl attempts to psionically contact Jaret to discuss Gloss's theory of who Masato wants to kill. Jaret disagrees with Gloss's name. Masato becomes Marten again briefly as Zoya traces the illusion spell back to its origins. The illusion fades and the Patrons discuss the things they learned.

Lisl, Zoya and Felice get together to discuss the Masato situation. The cub conceived from the old wolf and the ghost has been born. Felice changes over to Michelle to discuss Jaret, who has been acting oddly recently. Lisl mentions that the wolf pack doesn't trust Jaret any longer. The three discuss the story of Akiyata and Masato, trying to follow the pattern. They discuss what they know and try to come up with plans. Zoya wants Michelle to give Tyl visualizations for the cemetery in Kara-Tur for another expedition.

Tyl is angry because Vallel went tearing off to Suzail with Jaret, since Glossaria has been kidnapped. Masato materializes on the Hall. Masato taunts Zoya about Glossaria, tells her she will go with him, or else. She's not impressed, really. Masato sends Lisl off the Hall. Masato shatters a mug. The Patrons prepare to do battle. Masato flickers Michelle off the Hall. Zoya threatens to commit suicide, just as Jaret bursts onto the Hall. Jaret is Yurigama, the lieutenant from the Masato Akiyata story. Yurigama and Masato insult each other for a while, then Lisl reappears on the Hall. She attacks Masato. The adults attack Masato, while Vallel and Glossaria crouch behind the bar. Tyl throws a cup of mulekick at Masato, knocking him off balance. Michelle uses her voice command to stun him while Yurigama fights. Zoya closes in, reaches out to him, then a long spike emerges from her manacles, stabbing him through the heart. Tyl nearly dies, trying to shield everyone's mind from Michelle's shriek. Masato dies. Glossaria heals Tyl. Zoya works on resurrecting Marten. She brings the body back to life, but there seems to be no soul in it at all. Lisl is furious with Jaret/Yurigama.

Yurigama comes on to apologize for upsetting people about Jaret. Yurigama explains that Marten's persona never really existed at all, but was a mask for Masato. Tyl has something for Lisl to look at for her, a tuft of fur. Another attack on Tyl's students, this time by an eight legged cat-bull. Marten seems to be mostly okay, but not quite sure who he is or was.

Nacheyla explains why she's been out of town recently. Zoya is still slightly injured. A discussion of the Hall ownership takes place. Vallel talks about an outing Tyl has planned to take on some unauthorized bandits in Waterdeep. Marten sums up what happened to Moon Dancer and himself as best he can. Vallel proposes to Glossaria.

Tyl and Yohko talk about their successful outing amongst the bandits. Vallel got bopped on the head, but it recovering. Tyl mixes some esperweed with her drink. Glossaria gets upset when Yohko tells her that several young women were flirting with Vallel during the trip. Gloss has a bit too much to drink and falls asleep. Yohko accompanies Tyl over to check on Vallel.

Jaret is back from Suzail. Tyl is not feeling so well, as Yohko and she had a long discussion about the use of esperweed and Tyl promised to quit. Michelle tries to explain biology to Zoya as a way to lead into an explanation of the Michelle Conglomerate. A strange woman materializes on the Hall. She is dressed in strange clothing. She is unconscious. Eventually she rouses. Her name is Meghan and she seems to be from an Earth plane, similar to Moon Dancer or Michelle's world. The Patrons try to explain to her where she is.

Michelle explains about her moon earring. Meghan talks a little about her past life. Tyl comes in, complaining about having lost her psionic abilities. Apparently, deprived of Esperweed, her mind is not producing psionic energy on its own. Tyl has nicked a small reddish orange book that she wants Zoya to look at. Lisl is instantly suspicious of the book, as it smells bad. It appears to be bound and printed on human skin.

Zoya comes in, covered in ashes. Vallel remembers it being similar to ash found at the school whenever Nilgarthor or his henchmen attacked. Yohko comes in, wondering where Tyl is. Yohko asks about psionic abilities that could turn plants to ash. She found the stuff around her house when Tyl went missing. Rhys has some insights, which he tells the Patrons about. Namely, defiler magic from Athas.

Yohko goes to "interview" Fastian, Tyl's Esperweed seller. Fastian is very open and honest, and does not need to be intimidated, something which somewhat disappoints Lisl. A spider, about the size of a duck, named Dusty, offers to lead Lisl and Yohko to Nilgarthor's home. Fastian gives Yohko a package Tyl gave him to give to Jelarthna. Dusty takes them to Nilgarthor's home (?) and helps them to break into it. Lisl sets off a fire-trapped door and they proceed into the basement, looking for Tyl. A giant cat-like creature attacks them with psionic attacks and physical attacks. Dusty helps them and gets squashed. Eventually Lisl manages to kill the creature and Michelle shows up long enough to heal Lisl and Dusty. They find a room with a stabilized portal in the middle, showing a view of the desert. They try throwing something through the portal and a giant crystal spider attacks it. Lisl attracts the attention of the crystal spider, which shoots some sort of beam of light at her, setting her hair on fire. Michelle decides to go get Rhys and bring him back to the portal. Dusty and Lisl settle down to wait.

Jelarthna manages to stagger back to the Hall. He explains he managed to get stuck in the realm of Chaos. He seems his old self, bouncy and eager. The Patrons get shy about telling him what's been going on, not wanting to get him upset when he's barely able to stand up. Meghan, having no clue who Jelarthna is, tells him Tyl is missing. They fill him in on what's been going on. Caludicate comes in, has a few mulekicks and weirds everyone out just a little.

Bluestar comes in, his wife, Cwalindia (Tyl's sister) has been kidnapped. He's looking for allies. While everyone on the Hall is trying to explain what happened, Meghan faints. Meghan goes to sleep when she comes to, claiming to not feel well. Michelle thinks she might be allergic to something. Jelarthna gets the package that Tyl left for him, a black gem. He breaks the gem, releasing a small, psionic mock-up of Tyl. Tyl tells everyone that she and Cwal are being held in the Ziggurat and that Cwal is pregnant. The Patrons discuss their battle plans.

The Patrons journey to Athas to rescue Tyl and Cwalindia. They fight with the Crystal Spider. Lisl gets a leg through the stomach and they take a while to recover. Michelle has to deal with some pain caused by multiple moons. They trudge through the desert and eventually arrive at the Ziggurat. The Patrons take on two mul guards and enter the temple. The tiny Tyl turns back into a rock. The sacrifices' screams echo through the temple as the Patrons race up, trying to find Tyl. They find Nilgarthor, part way through his transformation, and exceedingly ugly. Lisl frees Cwalie and Tyl, then joins in the attack against Nilgarthor. Nilgarthor kills Tyl's mother, who he had also managed to kidnap. Lisl throws a pigsbladder full of Mulekick at him. Nilgarthor retreats, still transforming. Adam turns into an earth elemental and holds Nilgarthor while Jelarthna makes a portal home. Lisl, Zoya and Adam try to kill Nilgarthor while Jelarthna takes the others home and Bluestar breaks the spell components. Just before he dies, Nilgarthor touches Lisl's leg and curses her. The Patrons escape.

Glossaria comes in, bearing flowers and chocolates. She wants to apologize to Vallel and doesn't know how to go about it. Meghan seems to be ill again. She seems to be allergic to magic. The stove in the kitchen is acting up. Meghan goes to stay at Nacheyla's place for a while, because of the absence of magical items.

Temire walks home with Lisl, whose foot has fallen asleep from all the experiments.

The Stranger pushes back his hood, revealing a nasty, pustulant face and says his name is Death. It turns out to be Aldis in disguise. Vallel plays his pipes, then sings a song. He has nice, but not spectacular voice. Aldis makes some suggestions for healing Lisl's foot.

Temire is in a panic about Aldis, but calms down when Lisl corrects her misinterpretation. Aldis is interested in training Temire, not skinning her alive. Zoya is planning a spelljamming trip. Lisl shows off her new tattoo where the lizard foot used to be. Meghan and Glossaria decide to go dress shopping. Temire gets a bit hostile, watching Jaret and Meghan talking together.

Tyl and Zoya set up a way to teleport Gloss off the Spelljammer long enough for the Ball. Michelle and Meghan talk about the gem Meghan found. Glossaria runs off to pack for the spelljamming trip.

Lisl discusses the lack of good qualities in cats for a while. Xarroch invites Patrons out for a good demon squashing.
