* Rhys walks in from the kitchen and unlocks the front door. "Hall's open."

* Tyl walks in, her hood pulled up over her face. She moves with quick grace and casually looks over her shoulder as she slips in the door.

<Rhys> Evening there... Tyl. Can I get you anything?

<Tyl> ::nods:: Rum with ice, please?

* Zoya enters, faerie-dragon companion chattering excitedly and fluttering around her head.

* Rhys fixes Tyl a rum onna rocks and hands it to her. "Anything for you, Zoya?"

* Tyl pushes back her hood. Her hair is done in some elaborate braiding, which she starts combing out roughly with her fingers.

<Zoya> Cider would be lovely, thank you.

* Rhys pours a mug of cider for Zoya. "Here you are. How have things been for the both of you lately? Differences resolved, I trust?"

<Tyl> Well, *we* didn't have any differences... just a misunderstanding... ::grins::

<Zoya> ::The faerie dragon settles onto Zoya's shoulders as she takes a draught of cider.:: Something like that.

* Rhys beams a grandfatherly smile. "Well, that's good to hear."

* Rhys looks at the rapidly disappearing braids. "Those look they took a long time to put in. Why are you taking them out so quickly?"

<Tyl> Um... they're very distinctive...

* Felice saunters in through the door and over to the bar. She is a human, approximately five and a half feet tall with sparkling green eyes and long black hair that reaches down to her knees. She is dressed in a sleeveless red silk Chinese dress with a panther embroidered in black on it. She wears a ring with a large black pearl on her left hand and carries a sabre in a black scabbard with a black hilt in her left hand as well.

* Felice gracefully slides onto one of the stools, sweeping her hair out of the way and laying the sabre on top of the bar.

* Lisl strides into the Hall behind Felice, glancing around. "Sorry, Felice, she's not here tonight.

* Rhys looks around. "Good evening, Lisl. Who's not here tonight?"

* Zoya smiles and nods in greeting to Lisl, looking with some curiosity at Felice.

* Felice shrugs in a manner that seems to involve her entire body, "It's alright. I can make do with the clothes Michelle and Yohko left behind for a few days at least. Though I didn't realize Yohko and I were so different in bust size."

<Tyl> ::looks over at Rhys:: Can I borrow one of your rooms for a few minutes? I need to change... ::she indicates the red gown underneath her cloak::

<Rhys> Of course. ::gestures to the stairs::

* Tyl walks up the stairs.

* Lisl takes a seat at the bar. "Rhys, have you see Maeli anytime recently?"

<Jelarthna> ::the door opens and reveals Jelarthna. He walks in somewhat carefully, obviously limping a bit on his left leg.::

<Rhys> No, Lisl, I'm afraid I haven't. ::looks at Felice:: I don't know if you're new in town, but if you're going to be carrying that around regularly, you may want to find someone to peaceknot it for you before the Dragons give you a hard time about it.

<Jelarthna> ::darts a quick glance around the room and looks a little concerned:: Hello, everyone. Has Tyl been back here?

<Lisl> ::turning to look as the door opens, and raising an eyebrow at Jel:: What did you do to yourself *this* time? Got bit by a hellhound, perhaps?

<Jelarthna> ::grins and shakes his head:: No, I broke a trap that was set for me. I think someone underestimated me.

* Felice smiles at Rhys, "It's alright. It can't be drawn. See." Felice picks the sabre up and offers the handle to Rhys.

* Jelarthna limps steadily but carefully to the bar and takes a stool.

<Rhys> Evening Jelarthna. Can I get you anything. And Tyl's upstairs, changing at the moment. She'll be down soon, I imagine.

<Tyl> ::from upstairs there comes a few bumps and bangs::

<Jelarthna> ::sighs in relief:: Oh, good! I finally found her newly married sister and found out she never did go there.

* Felice smiles mischievously at Jel, "Or you could always go up and help her."

<Lisl> This is Felice, Rhys. She's a friend of Michelle's, taking care of her for awhile.

* Jelarthna gets down from the stool and heads upstairs.

<Lisl> Down, girl.

* Felice smiles at Lisl, "What?"

* Jelarthna raises an eyebrow at Felice.

<Jelarthna> Pardon my rudeness, but I will be happy to introduce myself a bit later.

* Jelarthna goes upstairs, finds the closed door and knocks on it.

<Tyl> Yahdah! Dammit, give that back!

<Tyl> Um... come in... see if you can't catch that damn ferret!

<Lisl> ::shakes her head and sighs:: Ah, youth.

* Jelarthna opens the door carefully, looking puzzled

<Jelarthna> Are you alright, Tyl?

* Tyl is wearing a very thin shift and nothing else. She is currently trying to catch a very playful ferret who has a mouthful of blouse and is moving around the room very quickly

* Jelarthna blushes and quickly closes the door.

<Jelarthna> ::stammering a bit:: Er.. I. Um. I see that you're okay. Uhhh. Good. Sorry.

<Tyl> ::slowly opens the door a bit:: It's all right. You can come in. I don't bite. Yahdah might, tho. I don't know what he's been in to today.

<Lisl> ::looking at Felice as the door closes above:: Are you *trying* to give the poor boy a nosebleed?

<Jelarthna> Um, well. you're... not... um. Dressed.

* Felice gives another of her full body shrugs, "It would be entertaining."

* Rhys takes the sabre and experimentally tugs on the handle. "That's all and well. But, if you don't mind my asking, what are you doing wandering around with a sabre you can't draw. Also, if you can't draw it, it won't hurt you to have a knotting put on it."

<Tyl> ::looks down at herself:: This is more dressed than I was a few minutes ago. Hang on. ::moves over and grabs her cloak:: Better?

* Tyl continues to try and catch Yahdah.

<Jelarthna> ::still blushing furiously:: Yes, thank you.

* Jelarthna smiles somewhat nervously

<Rhys> And it's a pleasure to meet you, Felice. Can I get you anything to drink?

* Felice starts playing with her hair and studying the bar, "Well, it was kind of left with me...And I don't think it would like being tied up very much...and I REALLY don't want to make it mad."

* Tyl leans over and snags the blouse. Yahdah hang on, and the blouse swings back and forth wildly, the ferret chittering frantically on one sleeve.

* Felice perks up, "Warm milk?"

<Jelarthna> ::walks into the room, making some effort to keep his eyes slightly averted:: Do you need some help there with... Yahdah, did you saw the name was?

<Rhys> Well, regardless of its temperament or disposition, it has to abide by the rules, which mean that as long as it's within Cormyr's borders, it should be peaceknotted.

<Rhys> And I'll see what I can do about the milk. Saucer or mug?

* Tyl removes the ferret from her blouse.

<Tyl> I think I have the animal control problem fixed. But you're welcome to stay...

* Tyl sits on the bed and starts putting her stockings on

* Felice thinks for a while, "It took me too long to get into this dress. Mug."

<Lisl> ::shakes her head:: Aerdrie above...what DID those cats do to you, girl?

* Rhys slings a mug off the racks and begins a slow inspection of the taps.

<Felice> Nothing. They just talked about how much they wanted to meet me, and how warm the blankets and the fire was, and how good the fish was that they, and how the Goody was probably going to give them milk in the morning and if I came out we could all catch mice together.

<Jelarthna> ::studiously looking away from the dressing Tyl:: Are you alright? I received a letter that presented a plain threat on your life when I came back for a short visit. I rushed straight to Waterdeep to look for you, only to find that you hadn't been there; and I had walked into a trap.

* Rhys selects one and carefully pours a steaming, white liquid out of it. "Here you go... but I think it's a little heavy on the cream."

<Lisl> ::sighs:: While you're over there, Rhys, do you think you could get me a mug of mulekick? Make that a LARGE mug.

<Tyl> ::steps into her skirt and ties the drawstring:: I am going to find that vampire and I am going to kill him. You know, he set a trap for Zoya too. She almost crisped me last week, thinking I was him.

<Jelarthna> What?

* Felice drinks some of her milk.

* Rhys looks around the racks for a bit and eventually selects a mug that's somewhat larger than the rest of his glass compatriots, and fills it with 'kick for Lisl. "Here you are."

* Jelarthna looks stunned

<Tyl> Yeah. He knows some weird spell that makes him look and sound just like me. Apparently, though, he's not a very good actor, and people realized that it wasn't me. Took a bit of convincing on my part to talk Zoya out of making biscuits out of me just to be safe.

* Lisl thanks Rhys, sounding very heartfelt, and takes a hefty swallow. Her eyes unfocus for a moment and she shakes her head. "Just the ticket."

* Tyl turns around briefly, puts her blouse on over her head and tucks it into the skirt.

<Jelarthna> ::turns around quickly and grasps Tyl's shoulders, looking into her eyes:: Are you okay? Has he come after you?

<Tyl> ::blinks up at Jelarthna:: I'm fine. I haven't seen that damned vampire in weeks. He trashed my house, though. It's nice to see you, too. How have *you* been?

<Jelarthna> ::sighs in relief:: Good. I'm sorry about your house, though. ::frowns::

<Jelarthna> Me? ::turns to grinning slightly:: I've gotten along alright. My journey of self-discovery has been a tough one, and I actually was not finished when I got that threatening letter.

<Tyl> ::looks down at herself:: How do I look? ::pats her hair in place::

* Lisl sips her 'kick.

<Jelarthna> And the trap this vampire left for me was a very nasty one. He seems to know a fair amount about my abilities, and I was essentially stuck fighting a number of assassins inside an anti-magic shell. But he misjudged my sword skill. Still, were it not for some of my recent training, it might have been a much closer thing.

<Jelarthna> ::grins at Tyl and bows:: You look lovely as always.

<Tyl> ::shakes her head:: I wonder if he was behind this... ::holds out the dress she was wearing earlier. There is a LARGE blood stain across the bodice and skirt::

<Lisl> Damn...that's the other thing I forgot to do. Speaking of swords, we were going to find Jaret to train you how to use that, weren't we?

<Felice> Rhys, do you know where I might find Jaret?

<Tyl> Thanks... but I meant, do I look less like Lady Tyl and more like a peasant?

<Rhys> I believe he'd be at his estate outside the city walls, like he usually is.

<Jelarthna> ::examines the bloodstain:: What happened?

<Jelarthna> You'll need to look a little less clean to really pass for a peasant, though.

<Lisl> ::frowns:: And he might have something on where Temire wound up...::glancing up the stairs:: tho' maybe Nacheyla can tell us. She went with him.

<Tyl> Lord Narine had an "accident" earlier today.

<Jelarthna> Who is; was that?

* Rhys begins picking a thread off the cuff of his heavy robe.

* Felice smiles mischievously at Lisl, "Do you think I should pay him a visit later this evening?"

<Tyl> He was a very wealthy lord. When I refused to sell him the book I acquired, he pressed his suit to become my husband. He wasn't very pleased with taking no for an answer, and in defending myself, I sort of... well... killed him.

<Lisl> ::dryly:: You'd love to, wouldn't you? It wouldn't hurt if we stopped by. I thought he might be here tonight, or I'd have gone earlier...::looking worried:: I hope nothing happened to *them*.

<Jelarthna> ::concerned look:: Oh my. So you think perhaps our vampire friend pushed him into this? It sounds like something he'd try...

<Jelarthna> Oh... what about the Dragons?

<Tyl> It was, I'm afraid, much messier than I expected. And yes, I'm thinking our "friend" might have suggested it to him.

* Rhys finagles a shallow bowl out from under the counter, pours some beer into it, catches the eye of Zoya's faerie dragon and nods discreetly at the bowl.

<Tyl> I wasn't seen leaving the party all blood-soaked. So I'm hoping that people will think it was just a thief. I, of course, took some of his things...

<Tyl> just to make it look more realistic, of course. ::grins::

<Jelarthna> ::shakes his head and chuckles:: Well, while I don't really approve of the stealing, I've got some experience running and hiding from the Dragons if it comes to that.

<Tyl> ::makes a face at him:: Stealing is a very fine and long-standing profession, you know...

* Rhys tosses the thread out towards the sabre's hilt and snaps his fingers. The thread widens, thickens, and lengthens, wrapping itself around the hilt and scabbard of the sabre, and ties itself in a neat little intricate knot. "There. Now, you won't be harassed by the Dragons, and if you are threatened, it'll untie itself so you can defend yourself. Granted you said you can't draw it, but I only do so much right off the bat."

<Jelarthna> ::smiles:: I know, and it's part of who you are. I wouldn't want you to change that.

* Zoya 's faerie dragon looks up and tries to sneak nonchalantly off Zoya's shoulder to the bar. She notices anyway, sighs, and shrugs. The little dragon bounds over to the bowl and drops its head in it.

<Lisl> ::taking another sip of 'kick:: Zoya? You haven't heard anything about Temire recently, have you?

* Tyl sits down on the bed.

<Tyl> So, are you off again very soon?

<Jelarthna> ::shakes head:: No. Not while this vampire is around and you and the others are in danger. ::grimly:: Staying here to help eliminate is has to come first.

<Zoya> Temire? Oh, Jaret and Nacheyla came by the other day following her trail. They tracked her right into this strange mirror that Michelle lent me.

<Tyl> Well, there's a very nice woman who's hunting it. She and Xarroch have gone looking for that vampire a few times now.

<Lisl> ::head snapping up:: Mirror? So she's...at the Tower? ::frowning in puzzlement:: Or does it...go somewhere else?

<Zoya> I'm not sure. I've done some basic divinations on the mirror, but they haven't told me much.

<Jelarthna> Still... I wouldn't feel right if I left you here when I could have stayed... Where are you staying now? Here in the Hall?

<Zoya> I'm pretty sure Temire's in the mirror, but I don't know how to get her out, or whether moving the mirror will hurt her.

<Tyl> I've been staying with a friend in the Guild. I thought it might be safer.

<Felice> Mirror...Would that be...But...Zoya, have you studied the spell book Michelle gave you with the mirror?

<Lisl> ::scratching her head:: Damn. ::looking at Felice:: I guess we need to wait 'til Michelle's back on her own two feet, then. She should be safe enough there, though, right? I mean, she IS inside the Tower. Technically.

<Zoya> ::narrows eyes slightly:: How did you know she'd given me a book?

<Zoya> ::to Lisl:: I don't know about that, but I think she'll be safe enough in the mirror.

* Felice smiles at Zoya, "Feminine Intuition?"

* Zoya snorts.

<Jelarthna> Well... you could stay with me, if you like. ::looks away for a moment:: I actually have a small place in Marsember that I don't stay at often, but... I don't know how well your guild would be able to stand up to a vampire like this. :shakes head:: I *know* that at the very least I could keep it busy. It's scared of me for some reason, and maybe just staying close will help keep it away.

<Tyl> ::gives him a long look:: I don't know... how "safe" do you think your house would be?

<Zoya> At any rate, I haven't had time to look it over. Nothing in it seemed especially impressive, but it's all coming at the problem from an angle I'm not used to, so it'll take me some time to research it. I was saving it for a rainy day.

<Lisl> Felice is an *old* friend of Michelle's, Zoya.

<Jelarthna> As safe as I can make it. I know a number of warding and defensive spells, and I the time I need to spend in The Reverie each day is small.

<Tyl> The Reverie?

<Jelarthna> ::smiles softly:: Don't tell me you've forgotten that part of our heritage?

<Lisl> ::sips her 'kick::

<Tyl> Oh... *that*... no, I find that I enjoy *sleeping* and *dreaming* the way humans do.

<Jelarthna> Well, I can't say as I've ever tried it, myself. ::looks thoughtful:: I have had extended periods of unconsciousness... is it anything like that?

<Lisl> ::glancing from Felice up to the still-closed door and back to Felice:: Whatever you have...it's not contagious, is it?

* Felice blinks at Lisl, her nose twitching in the processes, "What do you mean?"

<Tyl> Not really... it's very relaxing. I had to learn it, in order to learn a psionic ability... dream travel, it's called. But I found that when I slept, I actually felt less stressed and tense. Less... weary of the world. Like everything was refreshed and renewed in my dreaming state.

<Jelarthna> How odd. ::looks slightly puzzled:: It always seemed like I have been much more refreshed and renewed than the humans I've traveled with. Although they generally appreciated that I wold take so much of the night watch. ::chuckles::

<Lisl> Well, your...um...::face reddening a little:: your...freer...um...outlook on life.

<Tyl> ::shrugs::

* Felice shakes her head, "That's your problem Lisl. You just don't know how to have fun."

* Tyl looks down at her hands, frowning over the blood that has collected under her fingernails.

<Tyl> I wish we could make heads or tails of that book. I wonder why he wants it so badly. Sometimes, just sometimes, I think we should just give it to him and let him go away...

<Lisl> ::raising an eyebrow:: Oh, is THAT what you call that?

<Jelarthna> You really have picked up a lot of human ways, haven't you? ::scratches his nose:: And I've noticed some of the animosity you tend to have for other elves.... Why... ::pauses:: Why are you... interested in me, then?

<Felice> That's how I always approach life. It's so tedious and inconvenient when you have to obey all the human's silly rules.

* Tyl continues to study her hands...

<Jelarthna> ::shakes head firmly:: No. If there's one thing I've learned, it's not to give in to evil. I'll defend that book from him with my life if it comes to that.

<Tyl> I have some bitterness in relation to my family, and the problems with them... I care about *people*. Individual people. You. Zoya. Bluestar. Jaret. As individuals, you are all incredible people. ::shrugs:: Elven society as a whole? I think it's stagnant. Set it its ways.

<Tyl> Humans... they change. Like the wind.

<Jelarthna> ::smiles gently:: It sounds like you're trying to change the subject...

<Jelarthna> But you're right about that much.

<Lisl> ::dryly:: And acting like a sex kitten makes things easier for you, does it?

<Tyl> ::looks up at him, briefly::

<Jelarthna> Humans are very different. So... dynamic. So full of life and energy.

<Jelarthna> ::meets Tyl's eyes:

<Tyl> You're the only person who has ever been... on my side. No questions asked. No repayment demanded. No obligations.

<Felice> Well I can't very well chase mice or play with a ball of string in this dress now can I?

<Tyl> There's been nothing in it for you to... be my friend. And yet, you are.

<Jelarthna> ::smiles a bit:: That's how it's supposed to work, isn't it?

<Lisl> And *whose* choice was it to wear that dress, young lady?

<Jelarthna> But it's not like there hasn't been anything in it for me, you know.

<Tyl> ::meets his eyes unwaveringly:: But that's not how it *does* work.

* Felice smiles mischievously at Lisl again, "Well you did say we were looking for Jaret. Besides if we had found Maeli and this dress scandalized her there was no way she'd make the other outfits I want."

* Lisl opens her mouth, closes it, opens it again, and takes a *deep* draught of 'kick.

<Jelarthna> No, you're right. It very often doesn't, does it? But you've never had a true friend before?

* Felice purrs and has some more of her milk.

<Lisl> ::clears her throat:: Jaret's a gentleman. He'd help you no matter *what* you looked like or *how* you dressed. If anything, those new dresses you want might be a detriment.

<Tyl> I have had a few... sort of... I don't think Merrivale wanted anything from me, aside from everything interesting that I was carrying... but she didn't... listen either. Didn't just talk.

<Felice> Who said anything about new dresses. I want clothes I can fight in. I'd do without, but the local authorities usually frown on that.

* Jelarthna hugs Tyl

<Jelarthna> I'm sorry you've missed out on that.

* Tyl returns the embrace a little fiercely.

<Tyl> ::shrugs again::

<Lisl> But-- you said--- ::shakes her head:: CATS. ::In a tone of deep disgust:: ::sips her 'kick::

* Zoya chuckles.

<Tyl> I spent several years running and hiding, while growing up. I didn't have time for friends. And, as I got older, more confident in my ability to provide for myself... I didn't know how. Being here, in Marsember, has been the most incredible experience in my life.

<Felice> I said I need clothes that fit properly and that some of the alterations would be scandalous. Michelle doesn't have any fighting clothes and Yohko's probably wouldn't fit even if I had the alterations made to them.

<Rhys> [clothes]

<Jelarthna> ::smiles:: I know. It's amazing how many true and loyal people there are here. I think my life would be very different, and much worse, if I had not found my way here several years ago.

<Lisl> ::glancing down at her own simple leathers:: Sorry, I guess I'm just not used to thinking of clothes serviceable for fighting as "scandalous." You're not planning on joining the steel bikini brigade, are you?

<Felice> No. Doesn't breath very well. But I need my tail for balance.

<Rhys> [she can use her tail for barance!!!]

<Lisl> ::raising an eyebrow:: You seem to be balancing quite well on your own right now.

<Felice> Yes, but I'm not fighting either.

<Jelarthna> So... will you come and stay with me, then? I'd really feel a lot better if you did.

<Tyl> I'd love to, but... physically, I'd probably be safer with you... on the other hand... I don't know that it would do wonders for my state of mind.

<Lisl> So you think cutting holes in your armor and exposing your tail to being cut off is going to help your balance??

<Felice> I don't wear armour. Too restrictive. And if I have my balance anyone good enough to take my tail off is going to be good enough that I'll consider losing the tail a small price.

<Jelarthna> What do you mean?

<Tyl> ::looks back down at her fingers:: I mean that... that I would... that I might convince myself that it means more than it does

<Jelarthna> ::softly:: Maybe it does...

<Lisl> ::darkly:: Assuming there's only one person fighting you....

<Tyl> ::looks up at him:: Pardon?

<Felice> Lisl, we obviously need to spar sometime.

<Lisl> ::taking a sip of 'kick:: What, we're not sparring now?

<Lisl> I think putting the two of us in the same room with drawn weapons might be extraordinarily dangerous.

<Zoya> ::grins at Lisl:: Thinks a great deal of herself, doesn't she?

* Felice cocks her head to one side, "Maybe you know how to have fun after all."

<Jelarthna> ::averts his eyes a bit:: When I got the letter... I panicked. I was about ready to rush off and I didn't even know what direction Waterdeep was...

<Lisl> ::chuckling a little at Zoya's comment:: She *does* think like a cat, after all.

<Tyl> ::looks up at him, her eyes glimmering:: Are you saying..?

<Jelarthna> ::pauses a moment:: I'm... I'm not really sure what I'm saying, Tyl... But I know you mean more to me than simply a friend. I... I've never really felt like this before.

<Tyl> ::laughs suddenly, surprised:: Yeah, I guess not, huh? Both of us have been loners for too long.

* Felice sips her milk.

* Jelarthna laughs along with Tyl

<Lisl> ::giving Felice an amused smile:: No comeback for that one? Cat got your tongue?

* Felice gives Lisl a mischievous grin, then leans over and licks Lisl's cheek.

<Lisl> ::making a face:: EEEEEEEEWWWW. Cat spittle!

* Felice stoicly sips her milk.

<Lisl> ::shakes her head, wiping her cheek:: The things I go through for friends.

<Tyl> You know, Xarroch really jumped all over my case about not telling you how I felt.

<Felice> You're the one who thought they were top dog.

<Jelarthna> ::chuckles:: Did he, now? He's always been rather pushy and opinionated.

<Tyl> very... even as worried as he was about you when you got into that fight with the ... whatever it was... he took the time to tell me I'd been an idiot

<Lisl> ::giving Felice a dagger-laden glare::

* Felice ignores Lisl and sips her milk.

<Lisl> ::saying again, in disgust:: Cats.

<Jelarthna> ::snorts in laughing:: I didn't realize that he took quite that much of an interest in my life. Although considering the number of times he's saved it, I suppose there's a certain amount of investment involved...

<Tyl> I think he cares about you a great deal...

* Rhys looks around. "Five minutes to closing everyone. Last call."

<Jelarthna> ::ducks his head a bit:: I know he does. I guess maybe more than I realized... ::looks into Tyl's eyes again:: I guess I missed quite a lot of that, didn't I?

<Tyl> I think you've been holding yourself back from caring about other people... but Rhys wants to pack up and go home, so we should scoot. I think we have a lot to talk about...

* Tyl slips on her shoes.

* Felice sips her milk, "So Lisl, are we going to continue our errands?"

<Jelarthna> ::nods:: Yes, you're right about that.

<Lisl> ::nodding glumly and gulping her 'kick:: If I'm still standing in the next five minutes, Felice, we'll head over to Jaret's and see if he can help you.

<Lisl> Fence, that is.

* Tyl stand up, gathers her things together

<Tyl> Come here you little weasel... :: looks around for Yahdah ::

* Felice smiles mischievously again, "What, are you going to forbid him from providing me with any other form of assistance?"

<Lisl> ::blinking mildly:: Who said I would forbid him everything? But if anyone's a match for your current state of mind, I'm sure M'lord Malkier is.

<Tyl> ::hangs the bloody dress over one arm and turns to look at Jel:: Shall we?

<Jelarthna> ::bows and offers Tyl his arm:: Certainly, milady.

* Felice smiles, "We'll just have to see now won't we."

* Tyl rather firmly takes Jel's arm

* Felice finishes her milk and runs her tongue slowly all the way around her mouth to make sure she got it all.

<Lisl> ::finishing her mug of 'kick and crossing her arms:: I, for one, will look forward to it.

<Tyl> ::as they walk down the stairs...:: Hey, Rhys... do you have an incinerator?

<Jelarthna> I'm not going anywhere for a while, Tyl. ::grins::

* Zoya swallows the rest of her cider.

<Felice> Oh. Do you think he can handle us both?

<Rhys> Not a dedicated one, but we make do. Why, have something to dispose of?

<Zoya> I'd best be getting back to the Tower. You ladies have a lovely evening, now...

<Tyl> Evidence... ::hands him the dress::

<Jelarthna> Good night, Zoya.

<Rhys> Good night, Zoya.

<Felice> Keep an eye on that mirror Zoya.

<Zoya> And you as well, Rhys, Jelarthna...

<Tyl> Good night, Zoya... :: gives Zoya a surreptitious wink::

<Lisl> SHE will, at least. Good night, Zoya.

* Rhys looks down at Tyl somewhat disapprovingly and sighs. "I'll see what we can do."

<Tyl> It was a self-defense sort of thing. I don't want to end up married to someone because he hits harder than I do, you know...

<Jelarthna> ::bows to Felice:: I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to introduce myself. I am Jelarthna.

* Zoya leaves.

* Felice smiles at Jel, "I don't think you should be flirting with me right now."

<Rhys> Very well then... but I assure you, not *all* the Dragons in this town are corrupt. I'll take care of the dress.

<Lisl> ::sighs and covers her eyes:: I can't watch.

<Jelarthna> ::raises an eyebrow:: No offense intended, but trust me. I'm not.

* Rhys begins to twirl the dress, holding on to one end, so it begins to twist into a long thick cord.

<Felice> Felice leans over and kisses Jel's forehead, "Too bad."

* Felice heads for the door, "Come on Lisl. The night is young and there are so many things we can do."

* Jelarthna looks somewhat startled

* Tyl raises an eyebrow...

<Rhys> ::when the dress is tightly wound upon itself, he gathers the other end up, and folds it on halves until it's no longer than his forearm. Then, he quietly incants, touches the bartop, and then touches the dress, which quietly creaks and a light brown color runs through it, until it is completely transmuted into wood::

<Tyl> Neat trick...

<Lisl> ::stalks towards the door:: I'm beginning to realize why my mother was in a perpetual bad mood throughout my teenage years...

* Rhys underhands the stick across the room and into the fireplace, where it clatters a bit before settling into the grate. "I'll get to it with the next cold snap."

* Jelarthna watches the tail end of Rhys' maneuver with interest.

<Jelarthna> I'm sorry we didn't have a chance to talk, Lisl.

<Rhys> Now ::archly:: ... don't you all have places to be going?

* Tyl tosses Rhys a gold ring.

<Jelarthna> See you later.

<Tyl> Thanks, Rhys

<Tyl> good night

* Rhys catches the ring and slips it into the strongbox. "Good night."

<Jelarthna> ::grins at Rhys:: Indeed we do! Good night to you, Rhys.

* Jelarthna leads Tyl out of the Hall.

<Lisl> ::grinning at Jel over her shoulder on her way out:: That's alright. I'm sure Tyl kept you....busy enough this evening.

* Lisl leaves.

* Rhys follows Lisl to the door and locks it closed behind her. He returns to the bar and begins cleaning up the evening's glassware.
