Tyl expresses relief about missing the whole thing. Jaret has gone off on a quest to find a new sword. Eljorin and Zoya talk about Erdian's godhood and chaos magic. Zoya speaks about her past. Jelarthna and Zoya discuss the possibilities of Jelarthna learning magic as Zoya's student. Tyl leaves for an appointment with Bluestar and the other Patrons talk about apprenticeships.

Yb comes in through the fireplace, somewhat battered from a fight with a demon-woman (she says). Maeli mends her shirt for her. Yb says she put the bones of the demon-woman in the chimney, so Jelarthna goes rummaging around in the chimney for them. Maeli scolds him for knocking soot about. Yb makes a Meade dragon and splashes it all over the floor. Rhys gets a little grumpy. Tyl comes in, she's been packing her things because she inherited a house and is moving into it. Yohko explains that she's been teaching Jaret's students while he's away.

Tyl hosts a housewarming party. Jelarthna brings her a bottle of feywine. Tyl is having some problems with her staff, who seem a little hostile towards non-elves. Zoya gives Tyl an ugly little statue to "avoid offending the gods by having a perfect house". Tyl gives Philister a humidor of nice cigars. Jelarthna is given a box of elven sweet candies. Zoya receives a book on magical theory. Philister has a job finding a missing cat. The problem is compounded by the fact that the cat can fly. Tyl first considers the idea of opening a school for psionics.

Yb comes in, wanting mulekick. Curdswell is looking for a wild mage and a lycanthrope. He's trying to prove a theory about magical chaos accelerating evolution. Yb shakes the mulekick, causing Rhys to freeze her in place for a while, before teleporting the explosive substance outside of the Hall. Jelarthna and Maeli chat about getting Jelarthna's clothing fixed. Michelle and Jelarthna talk about going after Jaret, who is still missing.

Jelarthna notices a shady figure watching the door of the MeadeHall. Tyl's sister came to Marsember to live with Tyl. Tyl explains briefly about her parents disowning her. Jelarthna runs out the door, Michelle following him. Curdswell and Zoya discuss his new invention. Jelarthna pops back onto the Hall, slightly singed. Jelarthna and Michelle talk about going looking for Jaret. Tyl volunteers to help, if she can.

Lisl comes onto the Hall for the first time since it reopened. Cwalindia comes onto the Hall for the first time as well. Cwal admits to being a psionic and to not having the courage to tell Tyl about it. Cwal tells the Patrons about Tyl's older brother Karinthiam, who apparently died in an accident when Tyl discovered her psionic abilities. Lisl toasts to Sealgair's memory, and the cats outside in the alley yowl. Cwalindia goes out back and gets one of the kitties. Zoya walks Cwal home, to help her talk to Tyl about her psionics.

Tyl gets a little curious about Cwalindia's kitten. Zoya tells Tyl about Cwalindia's psionic abilities. Cwal explains how other people found out about her abilities when she used it to save someone's life. Tyl and Zoya talk more about Tyl's past. Tyl agrees to teach Cwalindia.

Plots: Vampires After Tyl, Lion's Trip to Shou Lung
Tyl limps in, bandaged and bedraggled. She "tripped" over a cat. Lisl and Moon Dancer have a somewhat enthusiastic reunion. Jaret returns. A stranger walks in, amidst much reunioning. The kitten saved Tyl from a vampire by tripping her and knocking her down the stairs. The stranger turns out to be Lion who seems to have gained his sight back. Tyl gives Moon Dancer a small packet containing a necklace made from vampire teeth. Mass confusion reigns as everyone tries to tell their stories at once. Moon Dancer gets filled in on the "mysterious stranger" who was asking about him (see Ches 15 & 22). Tyl tries to pick up psionic impressions from part of the roof near where Jelarthna saw the lurker. Tyl doesn't get much useful out of it. Lion tells about his adventures in Shou Lung. Tyl and Moon Dancer discuss the possibility of a spying mug. Moon Dancer and Lisl get into a bit of a friendly tussle and Lion hauls Lisl off of Moon Dancer.

Plots: Vampires After Tyl, The Ghost of Marta
Tyl is looking for Moon Dancer. She has a small black book she is curious about. Moon Dancer examines the book. Bai can read the book, and he, Moon Dancer, and Tyl spend a while discussion options. Marta comes in, looking pale and strange. Lion leaves, bumping into Marta on his way out. He gives her a strange look before leaving. Marta sits and Moon Dancer joins her. She says she's waiting for someone. Marta tells Moon Dancer that she's been waiting for fifty years, that she died fifty years ago and never made her appointment. Apparently she can move over to the Hall from the building across the street where she was killed because Jelarthna brought a piece of the roof over to the Hall (see Tarsakh 5). Marta tells about her failed elopement with Yousef. Bai and Tyl head off to try and trap vampires. Marta volunteers to help with the Hall bookkeeping.

A fat stranger comes onto the Hall, looking for Moon Dancer. Lion has some broken ribs. Zoya has solved a magical quandary that Tyl asked her help with. Jelarthna limps in, wounded from a fight with some of the vampires that have been chasing Tyl. The rest of the vampires were killed in the fire at Tyl's house. Marta asks if Jelarthna has seen Yousef, which he says he has. Marta is missing her locket of a jointed fish that Yousef gave her. She talks about her fiancee, a Viscount. Jelarthna explains that he visited the Viscount and was thrown out as soon as Marta's name was mentioned.

Tyl is working on repair estimates for her house. There is a message for Lisl from Master Kruth about a friend in labor. Tyl passes out ginger cookies that her sister made. Michelle and Jaret have a non-confrontation that sends both of them out of the room. Maeli recognizes Marta's ghost and knows Yousef and admits to bad-mouthing Marta when she "missed" her appointment with Yousef. Maeli leaves to go fetch Yousef. Tyl leaves to "settle" her repair estimates. Michelle drinks a half-swallow of mule kick and passes out on the floor. Lisl puts her to bed, cleans up the Hall and leaves.

Plots: Vampires After Tyl, The Ghost of Marta
Jelarthna has a black eye from being slugged with a fishpail. Tyl is grumpy about repair bills for her house. Yb pounces on Lisl, making hints about Lisl's nature. Tyl tells Lisl about Bai burning her house down. Jelarthna spent last week with Yousef, drinking. A second Yb walks into the Hall, causing most of the Patrons to become exceedingly dismayed. Yb sees Yb and they get a bit mad at each other. Tyl and Jelarthna hide under the table. Lisl joins them. Rhys turns himself into three Rhyses and pop Yb off the Hall. Jelarthna collapses as his shield spell wears off. Michelle comes in sometime after this. Lisl gets the hiccups. Jelarthna and Michelle have a whispered conversation. Lisl gets somewhat intoxicated and Tyl and Jelarthna escort her home.

Tyl is complaining about repair quotes (again). Lisl comes in with a bit of blood on her nose. Curdswell complains that Lion hasn't been to his smithy recently. Curdswell mentions that he's looking for a lycanthrope and the Hall gets a little hushed and nervous. Curdswell talks about being run out of several towns for being a bit too inquisitive. The Patrons discuss werewolves and demons after Curdswell leaves.

Xarroch comes in and terrifies Marta for a while. Xarroch explains that he does not follow his nature anymore, and is not there to take her soul away. Yamato (part of the Michelle conglomerate) comes on briefly to give Zoya some purified water. A group of demons are said to be loitering on the edge of town. Zoya spends some time working with a new invention. Lisl, Zoya, Jaret, and Xarroch plan to go out and slaughter the group of demons. Marta talks about her vow and how she came to be on the Hall. The other Patrons leave. Michelle and Marta talk about death and love. Michelle has some ideas for how to bring Marta back to life.

Plots: The Ghost of Marta
Jelarthna drags the Viscount into the Hall. Jelarthna accuses the Viscount and Michael of killing Marta. Viscount is denying everything and threatening Jelarthna and everyone else on the Hall with being hanged. Tyl and Michael have a brief conversation in thief's cant. Jelarthna explains his evidence that Viscount set up the murder. Viscount mocks Jelarthna's evidence, but makes Marta fairly angry. They scream at each other for a while, eventually the Viscount dies of a heart attack. Maeli comes in, dragging Yousef with her. Tyl uses Esperweed, then uses a teleport devotion to pop the Viscount's body back to his home. Maeli tells Jelarthna that Tyl's got a crush on him. Marta explains to Yousef what happened, and that Michelle thinks she can bring Marta back from the dead. Cwalindia bangs on the door, crying that Tyl is in trouble and she can't find her. Bluestar comes in next. Michelle, Temire, and Marta start the spell to return Marta to life. Maeli and Michael talk together about old times, as it seems they knew each other in their youth. Bluestar, Jelarthna and Cwalindia search for Tyl, who seems to have messed up her teleport on the way back from the Viscounts house. (Nine hours pass) Bluestar brings Tyl back from wherever she was, both a little beat up. Marta sits up, solid and alive.
Bluestar and Cwalindia go home, Tyl wakes up, scolds Jelarthna for a while, then passes out. Jelarthna gives Yousef some Elixer of Youth. Marta and Yousef are thrilled with their new lives. Jelarthna carries Tyl home.

Plots: Lion's trip to Shou Lung
Tyl asks after Marta and Yousef. Lisl asks Lion where he's been. Temire, Tyl, Lisl and Lion get into a debate about the nature of students and teachers. Jelarthna and Tyl chat a bit about matters weighing on Jelarthna's mind. Eljorin and Lisl talk. Temire gets really confused by everyone's conflicting advice and finally ends up drinking something totally random from the Hall taps. Mistake! Tyl volunteers to help her learn to sneak, and she and Jel and Temire leave together.

The repairs on Tyl's house are supposed to take two weeks. Bai offers to help defray the expenses. Maeli is just back from midwifing a new great-great grandbaby. Tyl is thinking about going back to Waterdeep, and shares these thoughts with Eljorin. Lisl experiments with mulekick and Mist of the Peaks (Everybody shudder... good).

Zoya comes in, helping a wounded Temire. Temire apparently tried to take on a bunch of thugs without help. Glossaria comes in, recognizes Zoya, and gets a bit nervous. She explains that she's one of Zoya's servants, sort of. Temire falls off her chair and vomits blood. Rhys goes to her with healing magics. Glossaria makes some adjustments to the healing potions. Glossaria explains who she is and where she came from.

Zoya comes in in a very good mood. Glossaria is talking in olde common, a side effect from reading too many old books. Yb complains to Rhys about him teleporting her away. Yb starts a food fight, startling Glossaria and causing Ylrana to react somewhat violently. Ylrana is from the desert and came to Marsember to learn about other peoples. She spends most of the evening explaining her customs to the Patrons and they explain theirs to her.

Plots: Jelarthna's Lost His Mind
Ylrana doesn't stay long. Glossaria wants to try all the drinks that the Hall has to offer. Michelle shocks Tyl by suggesting that Tyl might be interested in Xarroch. Maeli makes a green and tan dress for Glossaria. Xarroch leaves for a bit and comes back with Jelarthna, who is unconscious. He has been in a fight with a ::noise like a strangled cat in a garbage disposal:: and his psyche is damaged. Tyl mixes a glass of Esperweed and attempts to fix Jelarthna's mind. Jaret and Maeli have a conversation about anger and aggression. Glossaria chants and puts up some helpful wards. Tyl pulls some black slimy thing out of Jelarthna's mind. Xarroch disposes of the black slimy thing and Tyl and Gloss collapse. Xarroch and Jaret go off to seek revenge for Jelarthna. Tyl has a bit of a nervous breakdown and Michelle goes up to comfort her.

Jelarthna is alive, but still in a coma. Tyl has been spending the whole week with him, trying to fix his mind. Tyl eats quite a bit, trying to regain her strength. Zoya and Tyl discuss Jelarthna's mental problems. A hooded stranger comes in. It turns out to be Lini, Lisl's "cousin". Zoya exchanges energy with Tyl to "recharge" her psionic energy. Lisl and Lini do some catching up. Tyl indulges in some self-doubt, then goes back upstairs to tend to Jelarthna. Lini and Lisl go home.

Tyl is still tending to Jelarthna. Xarroch comes in and gives Tyl the head of the cat/disposal thing in a jar (gross!). Bai gets introduced to Xarroch. Tyl explains why she thinks Jelarthna went out and did something stupid. Bai and Xarroch don't take too well to each other. Tyl and Xarroch get into a bit of a snippy conversation about her emotions.

Jelarthna is getting better. In fact, after a bit of discussion, he comes downstairs. Tyl makes him promise not to ever do anything so stupid again. Lisl makes some faces about Jelarthna's idiocy. Maeli is feeling a bit poorly and she goes home. Tyl tells Jelarthna that she loves him, then shoos him upstairs to get some rest. Lisl and Michelle/Felice decide to go hunting bandits.

Tyl questions Jelarthna about his state of mind. Glossaria tries a new drink. Fire Dancer and Gloss talk about magic. Tyl examines some newly acquired jewelry, while Lisl scolds Jelarthna for being an ass. Tyl has a Blue Diamond in her stuff, and Gloss tells her about the Snake Cult that worshipped a snake god with blue diamond eyes. Jelarthna decides he needs to go on a trip and think about things.

Yb comes in with no memory of who she is. Xarroch gets a gift from the "little elf woman". Yb decides that Lisl is her "one true love" and proceeds to make Lisl a bit upset. Yb changes personas a few more times. Nacheyla ends up watering her drinks and Yb gets upset and leaves, much to everyone's relief.

Jaret comes in, in a very good mood, distributing presents. Zoya dropped a statue on her foot and is limping. Temire is wearing a black arm band and dejected. Michelle explains that Temire's brother, Lucius, was killed at the docks. Nacheyla mentions that the vampire she and Xarroch were hunting got away. Glossaria has a cold. There are multiple conversations taking place in the kitchen. Eljorin and the other Patrons have a bit of a lewd conversation. Glossaria expresses an interest in having sex with Eljorin.

Nacheyla gives Jelarthna a package. Temire seems to be missing. The vampire who is after Tyl left Jelarthna a threatening letter. Jelarthna plans a trip to Waterdeep to warn Tyl.

Tyl is back, but getting ready to leave for Waterdeep permanently. Lisl has a blue mark around her neck. A vampire has also been getting at Temire, who looks a bit transparent. Lisl and Zoya were experimenting with potions and both are having some strange side effects. Temire was killed by a vampire and Michelle is trying to get together the things needed to resurrect her. Tyl talks about taking a new job in Waterdeep and is acting a bit strangely. Jaret walks Tyl home. Michelle, Lisl, and Temire wonder about the possibility of Tyl not actually being Tyl.

Temire has disappeared again. Tyl explains to Jaret that she really wasn't herself last week. Merideth comes in, gets welcomed to the Hall and, as normal for a new patron, becomes excessively confused.

Brad is wounded in Lisl's house. Lann is on the loose in this world. Yamato has used Arthur's death to release himself from the Michelle conglomerate. Nacheyla starts trying to track down Temire. Brad tries to explain things to Lisl. Michelle is depressed and hiding inside the conglomerate. Lisl takes Brad to Goody Bea, in order to try to cheer up Michelle.

Tyl comes in and needs to change clothes into something less distinctive. Jelarthna limps in. Felice comes in, wearing Yohko's clothing. Jelarthna was sent on a fool's mission in Waterdeep. Zoya nearly french-fried Tyl last week thinking she was the vampire. Nacheyla and Jaret have been tracking Temire down and her trail led right into this weird mirror that belonged to Michelle. Tyl talks about another attempt on her life and she accidentally killed a Lord who was attempting to press a marital suite. Jelarthna and Tyl talk a bit about her dislike of elven society. Jelarthna comes close to admitting that he cares about Tyl.

Yb brings in an imp, which tries really hard to escape. Yb tries to convince Glossaria that Yb would be a perfect candidate for Glossaria's desired sexual experiences. Maeli has a cup of anise tea to help with her cough. Glossaria, Tyl and Jelarthna talk about love. Yb chases out after the imp.
