Troubled Dreams

Meghan sat in the middle of Michelle's living room bags piled around her. She was half buried in a pile of clothes, when she suddenly sat up holding a white shirt in her hands a smile on her face. "Finally," she said softly. She turned and folded the shire neatly before placing it on the top of a pile of cloths in the only open bad, then she closed it. She picked up the pile of clothes left and carried then back to her room. When she came back she piled the few bags left more neatly and sat with a few pieces of papers. She sat for a while and wrote a few different letters.

After about an hour she took the letters and delivered them to their respective recipients. She stopped by the farm where she had arranged to have some horses to take with them. She decided that it would not be a good idea for her to ride, since she never had before and Michelle thought it might not be the most comfortable trip. But she did think that they could bring a couple horses to carry their supplies, and then if there was an emergency they would have them available. She had a quick conversation with the farmer who was lending the horses to them and was quickly on her way back to Michelle's house.

She paced around for a few minutes trying to decide what to do until Michelle and Kevil arrived and they could leave. They had planned on leaving in the afternoon on Wednesday and travel until the evening then make camp. She fingered the stone hanging around her neck. She was very happy that Adam had been able to fix it so quickly. She paced for a few more minutes and then decided to sit and read to pass the rest of the time.
