Zoya Natovna was born on another world and trained as a wild mage. She came to Toril as a spelljammer about six years ago, and immediately became obsessed with Erdian's recently-emptied Tower. It rejected her, and it took her two years to find her way back. (http://ebrooks.confusticate.com/RPG/Zoya/history.html) This time, she had a long heart-to-heart discussion with the now-deified Erdian, and she took up residence in the Tower as his first priestess. Now that the Tower has a regular resident, it has mostly stopped randomly changing its location and spends most of its time in a small, somewhat poor neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. Zoya spends her time continuing her researches into wild magic, caring for Erdian's followers (a small but growing band of tinker gnomes who have taken up residence in the Tower's basement), and slowly befriending the people in her neighborhood. She is also training Glossaria to become Erdian's second priestess. Zoya is unusually tall and thin, with bright white hair. She has four slightly puckered scars at the base of her throat that appear to be less than a year old. Her voice is a slightly rusty contralto. She usually wears robes of white which sparkle constantly with other changing colors, a small yellow sphere on a chain around her neck, and a pair of stylized manacle cuffs on her wrists. She has been known to trade the robes for rougher working clothes when the occasion demands it, but the sphere and manacles (both obviously magical) are a constant. Hall History: When Zoya first arrived in Marsember, she had the voice of an old man, and her hair was entirely purple. The changing of her hair was a result of her compact with Erdian. Her voice returned to its natural contralto more recently, when she underwent an ordeal to formally shed the apprenticeship of her youth. The faerie dragon who was Zoya's constant companion when she arrived hasn't been seen in months. Zoya seems both unconcerned about his absence and disinclined to discuss it. |
