Vital Statistics
Loria is 20 years old, her birthday being Mirtul 3rd. Loria has dark hair, already streaked with grey, and dark blue eyes. She is fairly pretty, but tends to be shy and not like to draw attention to herself. She is a talented singer and has a very nice harp which she frequently plays to entertain her sisters and mother while they work with the wool and weave cloth. She has a beautiful voice and can also play pipes and the lute. She walks with a limp as a result of an accident when she was fourteen. She fell off a horse while jumping over a fence and broke her hip. She and Vallel were the mischief makers of the family, playing practical jokes and stealing apples. She and Vallel are very close, especially after her accident when everyone thought she would never walk again, Vallel sat with her all the time, reading to her. As she started to recover, he served as a shoulder, helping her learn to walk again. She uses a walking stick he made for her, the head of which is shaped like a small squirrel eating a nut. Because of her disability, she does not expect to marry. She is a little more serious than she was growing up, partly because of her accident. Recently, Vallel asked her to come to Marsember to be a singing instructor at his small shop, The Music Box. She is, for the first time in her life, enjoying a moderate amount of independence. |
