Vital Statistics
Fosst is a young man who looks to be 20 or 22 years old. Blue eyes like flint are set deep in his face, which is meticulously shaven, pocked with shallow scars, and narrow like a hatchet. He is lean and slightly tall. His long, dull black hair is woven with leather strips into a complex knot that rests between his shoulders, with a clasp of silver at the center. He speaks in a quiet bass voice with a slightly guttural accent. His clothing varies greatly-sometimes he wears a thick gray robe that looks to have seen better days, and sometimes he tries to wear more conventional clothing for the present time and place. He seems to like wearing thin, close-fitting breeches and high boots, all in black save for his thick white shirt. On his left hand he wears a thin silver ring that is dull from years without polish. He is never seen with a scabbard on his belt. Fosst doesn't seem to have a tongue for conversation, and he considers his life to be ordinary. He says he came from a wintry land and that he has no immediate family except his noble brother and father, and that Fosst received his father's blessing to see the world outside of home. He reads avidly and refuses to drink. |
