A good mage born in the city of Harpersty. He grew up
learning magic in private, because the ruler of
Harpersty, Lord Rhydon, forbade anyone to practice
magic. To escape the evil Mage's tyranny, he ran away
from the city to track down Lord Rhydon's raiders, who
took over towns for him to control. One day while
tracking a particular group of raiders, he found them
attacking a young lady and stepped in to help as best
he could. Taking out a couple, he cast a portal spell
and pushed the girl through. Holding off the raiders
long enough for him to make his own escape, he emerged
from the other side and fell unconscious from his
injuries.
